Lets start with the reason: a corp mate is going to sell his character, a 100 mil SP char. he realy needs to set up a deal quick but out of the kindness of his heart he has given me a week to scramble in the cash.
(most of this week has now passed and im nearing my last days)
when that happens his character will be out of my price range.

i currently sit on roughly 5 bil worth of BPO`s and BPC`s 2 bil in ships, 500 mil in minerals ice and ore, and another 2 bil in Modules and misc

i know this does not reach the full collateral. and i know you hard calculating, isk loving bankers concider that a no no.

im just reaching here, too be honest, i see no way to get the cash in time, as the 5 bil in bpos and bpcs cant be liquidized fast enough to reach my deadline. (bob the god of wormholes know ive tried) and i managed to sell 1/3d in a week but thats not enough.

my next payday is in 14 days, and he cannot wait until then, as all his accounts will offline in 5 days and he needs the isk to keep training ques while he is unable to play eve because of personal reasons.

im looking for a bank that is willing to lend me this isk, im willing to accept a higher interest rate because of the lack of collateral.
and i will pay a full month of interest even if the loan is repayed in less then one month.

(banks cant take characters as collatteral can they?)

if there are any takers, please.. help.. i want this soo bad, soo soo soo bad... and whomever reads this, you may be my only hope of owning that character.

i understand your concern about this, truly i do, but wouldnt have posted this if i didnt see it as a last resort. i tend to make my own bones in eve. but when im short of time, low on cash, and otherwise uncapable of reaching the deadline my corpie has, i see no other option.


wich is why i posted the (banks cant take characters as collateral can they?) question. and why i say, i am reaching, im grasping after my only shot at this.

1. because im unsure
2. because i currently have a 26m focused Gallente PvP char that im gonna try to sell/collateralize to try to reach the total sum needed to buy the character.

Also, if any bank, lender or loanshark for that matter has any questions, i will answer them fully. and provide whatever information they require.

i have allready asked him about this and his response was that he has too go away for a long period of time and intends on plexing his accounts then going away until the plexes expire from what he told me, he will be back 10 days after the plexes will run out on his accounts. wich is why its important for him to get the whole sum as fast as possible and why im getting such a juicy account for a low cost.


i will gladly take you up on this, if i cannot find someone willing to post me the full loan within 24 hours.

his accounts expires in 5 days, yes, he had given me a week, as stated i have used most of this week and im running out of time :P
he will be gone after his accounts are plexed (5 days from now) and will be gone until 10 days after those plexes expire

as for the point of me being able to plex his accounts this is something neither he or i have concidered as we both returned to eve this month as we have been on active duty. while i am now fully returning to eve, he does not have that option.

i will consult him on this. thanks for the heads up on that.

On second note... can i buy the character for 14b and hold it for you till you can acquire the money to purchase it?

I also would do this hold the char until you can buy it from me you pay transfer plus 5%

Ya, when I had a friend quit, and he asked us if we wanted his characters (have to pay the transfer fee). I got his alt fleet booster, simply because I didn't want a 62m SP character to be lost. I also got all assets from his account. Another corpmate got his main char.

If he ever comes back, I'll return it all.

That's the sensible way to quit.

Well since he didn't actually say his friend was quitting, that's probably part of it. You assumed he was quitting. If you actually read the OP, it states:
