Ship type highlights for my overview

Aloha,

Is there a way to color the pilots displayed in my overview, in a fashion similar to what I can do with fleet broadcasts, but by ship type?

No, you currently can't "color" shiptypes in your overview.

There is a sorting function though that puts all of the same together.

Personal channel: Crazy Dutch Guy

Help channel: Help chat - Reloaded

Public roams channels: RvB Ganked / Redemption Road / Spectre Fleet / Bombers bar / The Content Club

You can however remove shiptypes from overviews and have up to 5 overview tabs to tab through at once. So a possible work around for you is:
TAB A your current preferred set up
TAB B only the shiptypes you want to see active.

You can then select these preferences when using dscan so you can see is the particular shiptypes are on a gate or in a belt up to 14.5 au away.

I wonder when CCP will do a "little things" pass on the overview. It could use more fine-grained control. I'd like to be able to set up a priority list - an ordered list of things that float to the top of the overview no matter what. So I can give overseer wrecks priority 1. And overseer rats and structures priority 2. Then the rest of the overview is sorted as normal.

I think the Overview Types are treated as groups in the overview, so it's probably be a bit more than a 'little thing.'

However, if they did work on this, it'd be extremely useful.

As for pilots you can only color the name displayed when hovering their ship
