Do pirate null missions set you against other pirates? It really sucks going against CONCORD and empire navies, as they don't give any bounties and **** up your standings.

I'd think the excellent LP:ISK ratio would more than compensate.

From my experience in Venal doing guristas mission:

Recon 1-3 vs Angels
Gone Beserk vs EOM
Damsel in Distress, Right hand of Zazzzemsikiklltazz vs Mercs
Maybe 1-2 more

Majority are vs empire factions. Also a couple drone and mordus head hunters mission (mordus gives bounty iirc).

Please keep it civil. Spitfire

the tags ARE your bounties and they are more often than not worth upto 20 times as much as they would normally be in some cases..

as for screwign up empire faction standings. *snip* you cant have your cake and eat it too.

To answer the only question in the thread Yes, they do. Sansha/Blood/Gursitas will have you fight Angels/serps and vice versa. When you become in good standing with one pirate bloc you become in bad with the other, just like the high sec empires.

Also, I have yet to go anywhere were I didn't fight Zor, Krull, EoM, Mercs, etc.

As to the statement, Tags for concord are bounties, tags for the navies are better than bounties, since they are worth more than the NPC orders almost always. Also there are minor factions where the standing hardly matters, such as mordus and Thukker, since their space has no high security.

As far as messing up your standing that just isn't really true any more than you want it to be. It is totally possible to balance two opposing factions where you can be above -2 with both, and it is pretty easy to get one high sec bloc of empires to be fine with you if you are missioning for the pirates not directly opposed to them.

TL;DR in Eve actions have consequences, but with a bit of planning and effort you can still do what you want, so HTFU.
