How long to warp disrupt?

Imagine the following situation... you are in your battleship, aligning to your safespot, you keep the cursor above warp to it. Behind you is a cloaked ship or any ship warps to you. Now my question... after appearing on overview, how long do they need to make you unable to warp? Do interdictor probes have a delay between uncloak and launching the probe? And how long does it take to activate the mobile warp disruptor that is in cargo?

if they appear behind you they do something wrong, usually if you uncloak you do it in front of target ship and bumb him from alignment.

if its a dictor, the probe drops the second they click it. if they have to anchor it, its a different story.

if they want to catch you, they will.

and if you are in a BS, a frig will lock and point you in a second or less.

BS are not as awesome as young players think.

take this with all jokes aside, and a grain of salt.

He can immediately drop a probe upon decloaking.

If a dictor arives out of warp on overview (seen on d-scan before) you have a second to warp out while he decelerates. If you see him decloaking, i.e. he was sitting in the plex waiting for you, the bubble is up the same second and you're toast. Bombers warp cloaked and have no recalibration delay, hence they can start locking and tackle you immediately after decloaking ... if a recon or stratios decloaks you have about 3sec before they can start locking you. But those will likely bump you out of alignment to compensate for that ...

I forgot one tactic to mention, when you fly a cov ops with recalibration delay and have a good warp-in, you deactivate your cloak a couple of seconds before you finally land, hence no locking delay once decelerated and on grid.

When looking at all the options, you better are not there anymore when something lands or decloaks and you are not in a fast aligning ceptor. ;)
