Archeologists are going to dig this stuff up on hard drives many years from now and will realize why the "smart people" were not doing anything about the high-tech technocratic police state that grew in the early 21st century.

Omg that sentence my friend was spot on!

The difference between Star Wars and Star Trek is that the folks in Star Wars actually do **** instead of boring diplomacy... Altho I did enjoyed Voyager because of the borg stuff. Made it allot more lively. And btw... turbolasers sound allot more awesome then phasers Big smile

And before you guys flame me to death... I DO understand why you might like Star Trek moreBear

Trivia moment!

The sound of the 'turbolaser' was actually the support wire of an antenna tower being struck with a hammer -- it was just lowered in pitch and sped up a bit.

Except that Star Trek spells it 'Phaser' and it's an abbreviation for 'Phased Energy Rectification'.

Yeah. I'm that much of a geek.

Star Wars, now, always, forever!

Don't get me wrong, I love 'Trek, but...it's just too "sanctimoniously clean," if you get my drift...

who does?

Anyhoo, Trek was a TV series with a limited number of good episodes. A few good movies came out of it for themost part but the majorityof them sucked.

Star Wars was never a TV series and had only 2 good movies out of 6 (A New Hope and Empire) the rest, especially the prequels also sucked.

I guess what Im saying is, Babylon 5 has them both beat.
