Looks like a pretty normal elite solo pvper video setup.

Edit: Make sure to fit a black bar to all your fleet windows. It increases your DPS and allows you to brag about being solo and awesome.

lol at 1 million km d scan.

Those who cannot keep up will be left behind, to watch from a distance. And those who stand in our way will not watch at all.

First of all its 1 billion ... noob check

Second of all (and heres to teach you noob) a ship takes about 6-10 seconds to warp 1 billion kms (yes this is accurate because of the initial warp acceleration and the final warp stopping speed, cry noob tell me about interceptors and warp rigs)

The purpose of the 1 billion kms range is to not catch on scan anything further than that.

That way it gives me much more certainty if a ship is coming my way or not.

Scanning every 10 seconds, the probability of knowing someone is coming before it shows on your overview all of a sudden is 99% guaranteed.

If you use longer range, you will catch many people that is not even coming your way, however you worry about them cause you got them on your scan.

Confirming this is valid, its called "Shortscan" to know when something is about to land or is sitting close by in a safe

I don't get whats going on here. Is there something impressive I should be seeing that's worthy of posting? All I'm seeing is a semi standard window layout with extremely unneeded paranoia when trying to hide everything.

Something I have been wondering, how do people hide modules? On the UI it always seems people only have modules they need to activate show up there and all the others are poofed away. Tell me so I don't need google!

it's one of the options if you click the menu button (looks like two '=' signs stacked on top of one another) -- I forget the exact text, but something along the lines of "Hide Passive Modules".

apparently it's a massive effort on the part of the OP to tell us that you can set d-scan range to less than max Roll
