Can think of a few reasons, Alice Saki was the first to reach 100k likes and alot of ruckus was made about it, including devs & ISD posting to congratulate her.
Also a small ingame event was held, where Alice was given a freighter 'to hold all her likes'


Actually it was a carrier. But she somehow managed to misplace it so noone knows where it is and what happened to it.
