i have just joined eve in a very pc world .i have an iMac.
they haven't even accepted Yosemite several weeks AFTER it was launched.
anyway they seem a nice bunch here i am pleased to say.
i have several questions, which more experienced players could answer
what are the keyboard shortcuts for macs?
is evemon being translated onto macs?
having just started i would find it VERY useful!
and out of interest, does anyone know how many mac users there are on eve?
your very new but curious player,

What kind of iMac do you have?

Press escape in the client to bring up the settings menu. They have a tab for shortcuts only. Go wild!

EVEMon is a Goonswarm product. I know of no port for the Macintosh platform. If someone offers you a Mac port for 500 million ISK: do - not - take - it!

There enough Mac drivers for CCP to be willing to make a client, thank Bob! I have no idea of what the numbers are. CCP should be able to tell you.

Pro tip:

- you will lose ships. Live with that idea. Don't get attached to ships, you will not keep them. Don't be disheartened when you lose a ship. It happens to everybody.

- If someone offers you a deal that's too good to be true: it is too good to be true.

- Climb the learning curve at ease.

- Find what you enjoy and fly with people who enjoy doing that too.

- Don't get discouraged if it's 'all a bit much'. That's not a unique experience.

- Wormholers are some of the nicest people in EVE but: they don't wash very often. It's an acquired taste.

Welcome to EVE!
