Mission Mach Rigs - dmg vs ws

So the new mach with these fancy warp speed bonuses and warp speed mechanics have me a bit confused.

Say I am using a machariel with WS-615

How much time do I save warping using 3 t2 warpspeed rigs vs a burst II with a single t1?

Unless you in a fleet racing from system to system those rigs are a waste. Having read your earlier thread, you plan on missioning. I recommend damage rigs always for missions.


The Mach is a fast, high falloff hull. Puts out a lot of damage. The rats will be running not you.

thanks for the input, this thread is really moreso about how much of a difference say, 3 AU vs 6AU acutally is considering the Mach's unique bonus to acceleration, while also considering that the rigs will also increase acceleration.

Because i have a vargur in the same station. I am in a position where it would be feasible for the warpspeed to be better. Major combat mission could be done by the vargur while I could blitz other missions in the mach.

The burst II rig is easy enough, like, compared to not having the rig i stand to shave slightly less than 4 seconds off my time for every minute of combat.

So just pulling a number out of the air, say i save 40 seconds round trip by going warpspeed, then i know it it will be beneficial to use the mach on missions that i can expect to blitz with less than 10 mins of combat, and ill hop in my vargur for those that would have more. or something like that.
