In many a game there is a fine tradition of having the camera slowly rotate around the player character after X minutes of inactivity. I feel like this would be a nice addition to the ship hangar, given that EVE's ships are works of art and constantly getting better!

I never thought I'd see an Eve player that couldn't advance the spin counter on their own...

Not just simple camera rotation....make that camera flyby the docked ship at different trajectories and ranges to really show it off :)

+1 Why not what harm is there in having it. Maybe a toggle to turn off the auto spin for folks like Iain Cariaba

Admit it: You're just looking for a lazy way to get your counter OVER 9000!

Suffer like the rest of us.

Sounds neat enough, if it doesn't take much time to implement.

You'd need to have that option for 90% of new features to satisfy him P.

This is a reasonable idea for the screen saving feature. Can we still have it not affect the ship spinning counter?

maybe if there weren't so many 'I'm lazy, code me something so I don't have to play the game' ideas then I'd agree with more of them.

Years ago this was a thing you could toggle on or off in the escape menu.

Don't take me too seriously though, I like to tease a bit on the forums, but that's only because I love you...

Gonna go ahead and give this a shameless bump seeing as how it's been quite a popular idea so far Cool

It's not a feature I'd make use of myself, but others might enjoy it. As long as there's some way to keep it from activating, I'll give it a +1.
