Happy Christmas all.

It's also my birthday. Big smile

Fifty eight today,

I'm fifty eight today,

I've aged one year more,

As I've never been fifty eight before,

Fifty eight today,

I'm...fifty...eight......today.

I'm also at the back end of middle age. Two more years and I start my old age. Sad

I'm not sure that's really true. The quality of people's health has been steadily increasing for decades. Today, 58 is closer to what 48 was a half century ago. My father is near 60, and he seems much younger than I remember my grandmother seeming at that age. Actually, now that I think about it, said grandmother has hardly changed at all since I was little. Nowadays, I wouldn't consider it old age until you're 70+, possibly higher.

It depends how you would define age. If age is lifespan, then you would arguably be correct. But if you are saying that growing to old age is any indication of a healthy lifestyle, I'd say that is sheer luck if anything considering how our world looks today and what we put in our mouths.

After all, our world is far more polluted today than it was a 100 years ago.

I wasn't talking about lifespan, but rather the quality of that lifespan, which seems to slow down the aging process. Both quality and quantity.

Don't yell at them to get off your lawn (it's cliché). Turn on the sprinklers. If they start playing in that, give up, you lost.
