Remove training bonus implants

There is no reason to have a +5 implant to speed up training, I use them once in a while while my character is dormant to speed up training times but overall I think it's not necessary and I would much rather have skills that take X amount of days, then use implants. Instead, you could offer faster training to people who actually play eve, a +5 bonus is automatically added to a person who logs in 5 days a week. Reward people who play eve and click buttons and leave the dormant characters training slower. To me this mehanic has been broken for YEARS and yet I don't understand why it's still tolerated.

Every day in every way I improve my skills and get better.

And if you'll look to the left, you'll see yet another thread about attributes on the front page.
Here's the thread you should be posting in

Training speed multiplier instead of implant bonus

Log is once a day for 2 hours = +1
Log in two days in a row for 4 hours = +2
Log in three days in a row for 3 hours = +3

Join a fleet for 4 days = +4
Log in five times a week for 2 hours + join a fleet = +5

etc etc

max is +5

Every day in every way I improve my skills and get better.

you didn't explain exactly what is broken with slot 1-5 implants

they have benefits
+1 give the least benefit
+5 give the most

seems perfectly fine to me.

No...

What everyone likes the most about Eve is that you don't have to dedicate all your time in order to essentially "level-up".

I don't want to see that broken.

Players are rewarded with more isk and/or more entertainment value from the game by logging on more often.

IMO, attributes and anything effecting them need to be completely removed from the game.
All players should be able to train at the same rate regardless of security level, isk generation, and/or how many implants you can afford through PLEX.

The recent changes to clones, I feel, is in support of this direction.

The game already does this. THe more you log in the more ISK you make and the better implants you can afford to buy.

No...

Implants offer meaningful game play options to expedite your training at the cost of isk and increased risk of loss. Your participation and login time suggestion is easily gameable and by far inferrior to the current mechanic.

I cannot imagine anyone abusing this. No really, you've really thought this through.

Also. No.

But I do agree with you stopping posting.

So I set up a fleet. Join with all my toons. Go to work. Profit?

So, no thanks, they allready removed training skills, at least give us some choices in how we wanna train.

I like many people enjoy eve because i can play it with out the need to log in regularly so this is just no.

why not try going out and getting a real job see how much time you have to dedicate to logging into a game

My only beef with +5's is that they don't have an implant set... whyyy?

Basically the fastest training time is only available to those who do not use the most expensive implants... I mean why not add +5 variants without increasing the actual implant set bonus?

so I login, strip fit, fit from fitting stored a few times and am considered active?

How op are you classifying the quality of the clicking?

I'd be looking at indy work work where a days work can be done in minutes depending on what is made. I put say 4 widows in the oven thats can be a done day for me. Haven't looked at net profit from this but lets say a mere 50 mil per ship (i have sold for 100mil+ net easy, going low for effect here). Thats 200 mil profit for the day when done and sold. You may feel the need to make 400 mil a day....thats your thing though.

Or miners who have long cycles so they are not spamming key presses as much as mission runner, ratter, etc.

Or the trade adjusting orders a few minutes then done.

Or there is the cyno pilot for a cap/blops op. They could just be lingering waiting for the fc call to light it up.

Long story short op, some players consider it an achievement to do what they do in eve with as few clicks as possible. After you rescue the damsel a few 100 times...you start to think bad thoughts like you really would like to let her ass rot in the please garden lol. You then think man there has got to be a better way to make isk....and find them for least effort needed.

then throw the family bit on top of that. And try to be the good spouse/parent to be more specific. As you hear the funny (or sad) stories of MMO junkies who let the rl stuff slide for the game world.

What's funny is they can't see how ccp likes this. I can't isk make to plex quite often. So I actually pay. I make ccp's life real easy. I am straight money into the bank.

I like the way the SP training is now.
If you want a homogenized mmo where everybody can go from noob to pro in a week and no one has any special advantage go play Warcraft.

I like eve b/c it actually has a nice structure in place to allow people that have been playing for 6 months or 6 years to be on a higher level of gameplay than someone that started last week.

If you want to kill EVE do what WoW did, start making it noob friendly and taking the veteran advanatages away from them.
