Quick question... do auto-targeting missiles target drones as well as ships? Same for auto-targeting arrays?

I'm curious because both systems basically are designed to counter jamming and tend to be very situational and the way the description is worded they target the nearest ship but I wasn't sure if that also included drones in space.

I've heard quite a few folks griping about getting some type of anti-drone weapon recently and this strikes me as a pretty good tool if they actually target drones.

afaik auto-targeting missiles go after whatever is closest to you, so a bunch of the time that could be drones. depending on what missiles though it is probably a bit of a waste...

auto-targeting arrays, no idea, only ever use them turned off for the + locked targets bonus.

FoF missiles will target the closest object that is aggressing you. FoF light missiles out of a rapid light launcher actually make a passable anti-drone weapon, but their use is highly situational. In my experience, there are usually (but not always) better uses for a utility high slot.

Auto-targeting systems don't let you target while jammed.
