Well for a start...

1. Geno CA-5 implant to finish it off.
2. Another CONCORD ship (like the one we got prior to the incursions): maybe to help get the Unidentified structures.. identified?
3. Some of the clothes are ready to go but not released... please.. release them
4. Collectors Editions skins for the fastest T1 frigates - maybe in "racing" colours and with sponsorship decals on them.

Can't think of anything else right now..

New list!

  • 'Classic' character items, like the Minmatar breathing mask or the tubes the classic Jovians had.

  • New Marauder skins (like the GURISTAS GOLEM, MY DESTINED SHIP) and other ship skins

  • A Rogue Drone (Alvus) 'skin' for the Dominix- no additional benefits (preferably a new, updated version for the updated Domi Smile).

  • The Genolution CA-5 (bonus to targeting range and signature resolution) and Genolution Omega!

  • A CONCORD Police Cruiser (which only requires Amarr Cruiser I) as a fun gift!

  • Faction Drone Skins including empire, pirate, SoE, etc.

  • I'll probably add more again later!

One thought that would be cool would be items connected to the behind the scenes story. Which would help connect the dots of what's happened with the Lore.
Ties nicely in with 'mystery' codes, and would be common enough that the information wouldn't be too hard to get out. And connects people who got the CE better into the game.

I just want to let you know and all other CCP staff, because of this (among many other times), 3 of my new coworkers I got into Eve Online are going to be buying Collectors Editions. Not just because you are adding more rewards, but also because CCP has answered the community when this could easily be dismissed saying the items that are available now were intended and closed the thread like some other companies we have experienced in the past.

My point is, with my efforts in recruiting complete newbies to Eve Online to join me in-game, you have won their Steam Sale budgets... that is a feat among itself! Big smile

Seriously, just look at this steam calculator from one of my friends joining Eve:

Thank you Falcon ... to be honest though, this does leave a bit of bad taste in my mouth, as now it feels like after the CCP got the money, they forgot about the promises.

    Not at all Smile

The member of staff who was working on keeping stuff flowing with the mystery code has departed from CCP as of a few months back, and it hadn't been picked up yet.

It has now, and we'll see what we can put out for you guys next year.

I'd like to see a set of Faction drone skins, or limited release of faction drones like the Gecko. It would be amazing if I could put a set of SoE sentries into my ships.

That being said... I'd prefer that we didn't see a ton of ship skins given out. I was a little disappointed in the Rorquel one, not because of the design, but because I'm not a miner and don't ever expect to see it get used. It doesn't matter what ship you choose, there's always going to be a number of people that can't use that skin and have to sell the BPO.

Try to stick to fairly universal rewards if possible. Clothing, implants, unique skill-lite ships/shuttles, etc. They may not be as flashy, but I'd prefer something everyone could use instead of market/contract fodder.

Yay! I am glad someone is in charge of this now!

I am going to go out and say that things like Quafe Zero, Geckos, Genolution CA implants, etc. are things that should be added to LP stores. They should be added to LP stores so we don't have to wait for CCP to decide to give these things away again as they provide cool choices and consequences in Eve. Steady supply keeps costs down and these items in use. They would be nice uses of the code as of right now because some of these things are becoming prohibitive in cost to use.

Ship skins, apparel items, either of those that you can no longer purchase as they were removed from the store (Monocle? ORE Mackinaw skin?). Just fun things that look cool that we can either use or sell.

My mystery code only gave me the ca-1 and ca-2 implants. Did other people really get the ca-3 and ca-4?

If my mystery code was somehow broken I would like for it to be fixed please. If it gives the 3 and 4 I will buy more collectors editions fo sho.

Ship skins are always fun little handouts.

Exclusive clothing options are also good ones.

Differently named modules would also be cool. Tie it in with module tiericide, give mystery code holders some of the modules with the "old" names after you Tiericide them.

As for actual game-changing things, how bout you give mystery code holders "first roll-out" of new or re-vamped ships once and awhile? Like for example, the next T3 destroyer. Give the code holders the next one in the roll-out around a week or so earlier than the "mass market".

If anything, I'd say you guys should roll out a mystery code goody with each 6 week dev cycle. Keep it all a secret. It could be something as small as a ship skin, or as big as a new implant that won't be mass marketed. Keep it mixed up and varied, it'll reward people who have already gotten their CE, and encourage people to buy it to see what sorta things they can get themselves.

Blame it on the old administration. Well played, President Falcon.

On the subject of face-saving. It might be clarified in the text of the eve store currently selling the collectors edition that in the instance of "More Mystery Code content will be announced soon!". "soon!" means next year.

In the minds of many who bought the collectors edition, this is going to look like ball-dropping if people will be made to wait that long. Not everyone reads these GD on the forums. For all genolution implant holders, this is going to look like more incomplete content.

I propose that, if possible, on christmas day or new years, give bonus code holders a choice of the Geno 3 or 4 implant, or even both, with a promise that the Genolution 5 implant that is needed to complete the set will be given to everyone next year. Seeding geno 3 and 4 back into the market will make the set more affordably accessable for those who wish to complete it. The surprise would add a little excitement into the game and give people something to look forward to.

CCP could stand to make a lot of money if they play their cards right. The geno 3 and 4 implants were seeded in the past with the collectors edition and there should be minimal problems with doing this. Lets face it, EVE already has power selling elements via multiple accounts and plex buying. Something small like this isn't going to tarshish CCP's image and would be beneficial for all parties, save the very few who are selling Geno 3, 4 implants for 2.4 bil each. Only 13 of the geno 3 type remain for sale on the market and the type 4 no more than 20.

Do the right thing for everyone and cash in on completing content.

Cut them a little bit of slack. A lot has happened in the game since then. We got neglected a little, but it's no reason to toss out accusations like that.

By all means, want what you paid for. But, don't be so hostile.

    Just to put this straight.

Was not meant in a hostile way, not to Falcon, or anyone else. Is a bit more like sadness. I love the way this game is heading, and applaud the people at CCP for their efforts. I also realize that this "project" has much less priority than looking at sov, fixing POS code or whatever...

Just thinking about how the CE was advertised, like a one in a lifetime possibilty to buy something unique, than later it got offered on a discount again, and now realizing that the last unique thing that remained for CE holders, the mistery code got forgotten in all the buzz ... well that is surely not something I can be happy about.

I know this is a business. I am also positive that the brains at CCP will come up with something fun and worthy.

    Happy holidays to everyone.
