Im a fellow explorer like many of you, but one problem i have is when i scan down a site where ever that may be? there are players that are using scanners so that they only hack the containers that are worth hacking.

This for me is a common problem because I not only make the effort to scan down the site but there's non or very little loot left to take. This s not me being greedy, its an open mind for all of us explorers out there.

I feel the best way to overcome this, is to scrap scanning from these sites, if we make the scanners not work on these sites, it will not only make it better for us explores but it would respwan the sites for other players to enjoy and make isk.

Yes sometimes there will be left sites half done, because of different factors, especially if someone was killed at the site.
I feel this addition would make the world of Eve go round at a better place for all.

What would you think CCP?

Many Thanks!

It's a pain but something you have to live with as its a valid tactic. I crack the cans anyway as the site despawn often triggers a different spawn. That's given me a headstart on a juicy combat site many times before now.

Again, no to this idea from me.
There are reasons to cargo scan sites, and the simple truth you would just come back to the forums and whine that you hacked all the cans and only find 2 carbon.

If you don't follow the rules, neither will I.

+1 and a way should be found to combat the guys that wait on someone to clear a combat site for them just to role in and take your faction spawn and role out.

It's a matter of bad luck if you scan down some sites and find that there's nothing worthwhile in the containers.

Mostly it means you scanned them down too soon after someone else, because the sites will actually despawn and re-pop as something else if even one container gets opened.

I suggest you try scanning in less well traveled locations, I've only run into one or two sectors where sites have been picked through, usually I avoid that by noting if anyone else is running probes in that system, and if so moving on.

It's a crap idea. Greifing is part of EVE, denying someone something is part of life. If we start removing it here than why not just remove HS ganking, bumping etc..

What we should do tho is make the site despawn after you warp out. Like they do in WH space you warp to it and you have the one chance to hack any or all cans you want and when you leave site despawns.
