New progression. As of the time of this transmission, I have detected a cosmic signature in local Provi space, one stargate jump from my home base, actually, which I am incredibly unable to pinpoint with my probes. I have not had this problem in a long time. I cannot seem to focus the signal past 74%, but I am able to get enough of a reading to detect that it is some form of Standard Sleeper Cache. I am eager to find out what exactly is contained therein, but it is a scanning challenge unlike any I have experienced in my exploration career since my early adventures. I assume, however, that the Circadian Seekers have begun a second phase of their presence among us: setting up initial bases for activity utilizing the information they have gathered upon us thus far. If anyone else has had any encounters with these anomalies, I am interested to hear what you have found.

Update: A copilot has helped in accessing the site. Initial findings: Two cloaked structures. A Damaged Sptial Concealment Chamber, and a Hyperfluct Generator, the latter of which requires hacking to access. Upon success, it drops cloak and two new structures appear: a Sleepr Multiplex Forwarder, and a Strange Rift, which acts similarly to an Acceleration Gate. The second phase contains further units to be hacked: Mangled Storage Depot, Dented Storage Depot, Coordinate Plotting Device, Immobile Tractor Beam, and Remote Defense Grid Units. Scattered about are several Sleeper Preservation Conduit, Sleeper Multiplex Forwarder, Sleeper Thermoelectric Converter, Sleeper Interlink Hub, Sleeper Enclave, Inactive Sentry Gun, and Impenetrable Storage Depot. Three active defense units are spread at very wide range, from 187 km to 356 km. Wakeful, Restless, and Vigilant Sentry Towers. It appears that the breaching of the various accessible units causes the active defenses to shift their positions within the area. Both Data and Relic Analyzers are required to breach the various units, each causing a shift in the activity of the defenses, and forwards the progress toward being able to attempt breaching the main storage unit. Initial use of a cargo scanner reveals many empty units, presumable existing simply as a level of defense. Storage Unitsshowed to contain a Neutron Blaster, Sleeper Data Libraries, Neural Network Analyzers, and R.A.M Ammunition Techs. Cooridante Plotting Devices seem to upload a coordinate plot to the ship's computer. Remote Defense units seem to be what alters the positions of the sentries. Remote Calibration Devices seem to cause another rift to be activated as a second Acceleration Gate function. It would also seem that the Defense hacks may cause either a deactivation, or an alert timer to the Sentries. Upon a defense activation, backup arrives and corrosive gases are discharged. Unfornately, this was the end of my data collection, as one might imagine. The transcript of system messages that I managed to acquire is as follows.

At least my capsule escaped.

What about these X,Y and Z coordinates? Where did they lead?

Luna, we've yet to see where the calibrated rift formed from the X, Y, and Z coordinates lead, due to defense complications each time my exploration team has encountered a site. But we're certain that they are to be uploaded to the Rift Calibration Device. When the time comes that we succeed, I will be certain to report our findings. In addition to the Standard cache, we've discovered Limited sites that will only allow frigate-sized ships through the rifts. To date, we've been able to obtain blueprint copies for a polarized hybrid weapon and polraized projectile weapons.

took some more pics of the sleepers i thought were interesting , i decided to attack one with my drones , the sleeper in question basically spun on the spot the entire time and scanned my drones the entire time as well.

this i thought was unusual the other 4 sleepers came back from scanning the structure and spent a good 5 mins scanning my drones , my ship and the sleeper wreck my drones had just killed , thats all they did before warping off .

has anyone else noticed unusual behaviour with the sleepers lately?

I have destroyed many of them in high sec 0.9 space where they have an unidentified structure set up. They are as yet unable to break free once pointed and scrambled.

The only weakness they demonstrate is the habit of returning to the same spots repeatedly. It makes it easy to ambush them.

I think those concerned that the information gained from allowing them to freely scan is weighted heavily in their favor are correct. Drones have no record of peaceful intentions when it comes to their interaction with humans. When the other shoe finally drops I suspect it will not be pleasant.

To date they have shown no ability to repair each other, armor and hull damage remains if they slip free from being warp disrupted by going in different directions. When you track down the one ship that might have eluded you the damage is still present.

Had an encounter yesterday.

Being scanned. Has any known module emitted this energy pattern?

Yes notice the blue rippling effect also occurred on the customs station, like electrical discharge on the surface of the hull. I failed to notice if this happened to my ship or drones.

That was going to be my next question. Is CONCORD offering bounties on them?

If they're not just attacking you, but actively hunting you, then I think the profit is in your continued existence. Especially if they are going after pods. What does your quote say about first and last shots?
