Star Citizen can be inspiration for EVE

hi,

what you think, many stuff from Star Citizen can be welcome in EVE, like truly sandbox, integrate Project Legion and EVE in one system, i can land on planet in my ship, shoot to NPC and collect rare stuff.

Good idea is open, "Doors" in station, and give player opportunity to play in games like space poker in bar. we can deposit isk, ships, stuff and play for it.

Not a bad idea. However, it's not exactly new either. And the forum moderators are quite strict on redundant posts covering the same topic. If this post is locked, please voice your opinion in one of the existing forum topics. Search "Walking in Stations" or "WiS" for starters.

I'd still kill to be able to play high stakes poker (in-game) on a station instead of spinning a ship some days.

Lack of avatar gameplay is something I'll never let EVE live down. Right now EVE is an acquired taste, but if there was gameplay that people recognized, then maybe it would have some mass appeal. Basically any game that acknowledges the humanized avatar is an inspiration for EVE, not just SC. I ******* agree m8.

EVE doesn't need inspirations. It needs fear and competition.

It's too late for Eve to take inspiration form star citizen, this is mainly due to the fact Eve has already been published and this cannot be vapor ware.

If you don't follow the rules, neither will I.

Was just going to say how star citizen is more or less a scam.

If you want to compare it to something try Elite: Dangerous.

Well at least if you want to be taken seriously...

No.

More miniature trees, more fish tanks, more spaceships, more of everything! This is a idea!

Okay maybe.....wait no EVE is a spaceship game.

Go play Star Citizen if you want all that.

Yes, please. I want to decorate my station office with all the gifts I have from EVE over the years. I want to have market items that people can craft and sell that I can put in my office.

this.

How many pledge drives has this game had?

yes they add more ohh ahh features....but when I talk with people in it I am not hearing core game fixing being done with any sense of urgency.

And its not like how I don't know how these work, I run some beta's/alpha's. I jumped on prison architect way back. they at least give a nice site for bugs to post to show they care. And their bugs at times can have some humor value. Hell even the dev comments on the bugs in the bug db can show a sense of humor. You at least see real work is being done at the end of day regardless. And I get all this with the money I paid for on a steam sale....

Would they also need to incorporate a fee to unlock said features so I can play them in a detached vacuum in an incomplete and fragmented nature?

This, avatar game play in eve would be a good way to link eve to the other New Eden titles such as legion and valkyrie.

Don't take me too seriously though, I like to tease a bit on the forums, but that's only because I love you...

I thought about it, it would be bad. letting capsuleers in those games is too easy--a character with our name and likeness. but then what. we'd have to log out of this one to play in that one? doesn't seem great.

as long as it means we dont have to start instancing and limit the number of players in any one place then i dont really care how the transition between ship and avatar happens.

but at the first whiff of instancing id rather the idea be trashed, and the trash can be shot into the sun. Same goes for any 'community goals' involving space fish and banzai trees for CQ as a reward.

Erotic dancers and crash as a reward for CQ on the other hand...Hey guys. i just had a great idea for the NEX store.

How about for next chrimbo CCP give everyone space trees, space fish, and books on languages for FREE. (chortle)
