You Can Have My Stuff

Space has been very good to me financially. Granted, I'm not sitting in the top 1% as far as net worth goes, but I have enough to keep myself materially satisfied for a very long time.

Materially satisfied, however, isn't enough. When I do finally depart from space, I have no need to take any of it with me. My family's trust funds are more than enough to meet my every material need for the foreseeable future.

People are what make life worthwhile, and the people that have made mine worthwhile have all vanished over the years. Those who do still roam the stars have parted company with me on mutually bad terms.

Quite simply, the starcakes aren't as sweet, the sunrises aren't as lovely, and the shopping isn't as exciting without someone to share the experience. Surely, there must be someone out there who isn't obsessed with finding her name on killmails--someone that might care to share the simple joys of life.

When such a rare person comes along again, I shall do my best to ensure she remains in space by providing for her pilot's license renewal. I'd consider it a great pleasure to finally have another friend worthy of showering with gifts.

...and when I do finally leave space, she can have my stuff.

Wow! This is so lovey-dovey mushy sappy that it makes me want to hurl! Bleh!

And I don't want your ISK either way! It probably has cooties.

Dibs, I want ISKs!

A little trust goes a long way. The less you use, the further you'll go.

Be well, Norrin. It is peculiar, the cold Black and its capsuleers do not appear to be very compatible with us racers.

Peace,

... is it just me or does this smack of mail-order brides? There are legal and voluntary services for this kind of thing, vetted and controlled by ethical oversight groups, you know. Just buying someone with a giant pile of isk isn't very tasteful, though.

Neither is anything about your post tasteful. The person in question was a great friend to everyone. She was sweet. Her vanishing again sucks for a lot of people. Unlike you. You staying MIA might have kept the cluster a little nicer.

That's a little harsh isn't it?

Norrin Ellis - as we all know, stars have a life cycle; they inevitably go supanova and cause mass destruction in the solar system they hold sway over. Through this the building blocks for life as we know it are thrown out to gather anew; to begin again; to create and influence the creation of new forms.
Here's hoping, one day, that a star is born again into your solar system; warming the planets that are drawn into it's gravity well; allowing the surface ice to melt; bringing new life; causing new constructs to form & take root; and allowing you to feel it's warmth once again on your skin.
For you see, Mr Ellis, I was once lost in the dark vacuum of a lifeless solar system when a new star was born into it, which reignited the life I had presumed extinguished.

All the best, where ever your pod may take you o7
