By fully automating the SRP system in game, it will save time for everyone from having to pay out members individually.

Have it as some sort of alliance / corp setting. Define hull type and the associated SRP cost, etc...

CCP plz! It would save so much time for everyone!

Not really. Just make sure that the FC of the current combat situation has the authority "allow" srp for all members in fleet.

Maybe by selecting the fleet members with doctrine fits, and specify timeline of death, and system locations. By the click of 1 or 2 buttons everyone gets SRP. I find this a better solution then using a 3rd party web page, where you have to process each member individually. Then somebody else comes in to pay out the SRP, again individually. Tedious and repetitive process that is unnecessary.

SRP is not a CCP invention, not a feature, not their concern. It is entirely an artificial system created by players for players.

Also the vast majority of SRP programs require the lost ship to have had specific fittings to qualify for SRP, so simple filtering by hulltype would be bad.

TLDR: No. players invented SRP, players get to deal with running it.

Is there an API that can automate the ISK mailing process then?

If running/using SRP is too much work for you, then don't be involved in running or using it.

That's easy to say when you don't have a corp/alliance of over 10,000 members.

@Anhenka Oh sorry, I thought this was the "Features & Ideas Discussion" thread, not the bittervet thread. What kind of positive benefit to this forum do you have, if all you do is moan rather than provide feedback in regards to questions?

Is there an API to automate ISK mailing? If so there could be a 3rd party solution to this.

It is. You proposed an idea, everyone agreed that it was not an idea that should be CCP responsibility, and you decided to whine about how your 10k man coalition somehow can't find enough people to handle SRP. Now it's just time to mock your self-pity.

10k people means more claims to handle, but it also means that many more people to help handle it. If you can't find enough people to help you, that's a problem with the people in your alliance, not the game.

P.S: There are quite a few tools for helping to automate SRP procedures, but they are frequently proprietary to a specific groups, who don't see the need to hand out the tools they spent time and effort to develop to every rising group that pops up. Beg/Bribe/Steal/Develop your own system.
