High Sec Exploration Disparities

Three+ Battleships in a highsec Caldari radar sites? Whoa that's quite a change from a few destroyers and frigates in Gallente space. Anyway...

Now I'm not bashing exploration in any regard and feel that it's meant to be taken in small doses. Last night just happened to be one of those evenings when PLEX was getting near-due and I figured I'de have a go at a good haul.

6+ hrs exploring Caldari space? (0700 - 1400) Here ya go have a Pithi A-type Small Shield Transporter.

Watch? none
Vigil? nope
4/10? What are those called? I would have learned had I found any.

More Mag / Grav sites in one night than I've seen in countless more Gallente exploration ventures. Cherry-picking occurring? I would like to know leaving grav/mag sites effects DED site respawns.

Not looking for shoulders to cry on or "exploration is fickle" empathetic regards. Just crying out for some semblance of rhyme or reason to be implemented in this RNG facet of the game.

Regardless, there is a way to mitigate it - I'm going back to my stable Gallente wages.

PS I find it ironic that 1 module from Caldari space can support the better part of a month in playtime I do not feel I'm entitled to such. It's almost as if CCP is throwing us a bone though.

Gallente space, from my experience, can end up much more picked-over than anywhere else. Despite the extra mags and gravs, I think you would end up better overall, but please feel free to head back to Gallente space! :D

Exploration is one of the most lucrative but unpredictable professions in the game. If you're looking for a stable income go run missions or incursions or whatever.
We definitely don't need people to come on the forums and complain about bad findings. Caldari space is the most congested area of space for explorers and is VERY cherry-picked (with good reason). Not everyone can get a good haul and if you're not happy with the way things are in Caldari space then go back to Gallente space.

I personally have been very successful picking through the Guristas sites and your experience just proves the obvious: random things are truly random.

Now go away.

We both know that I came, explored for about 3 weeks, and then retired on a mountain of isk.

I'll be back at it in the next few weeks, most likely.

At least not while we're playing Skyrim, there's not.

I used to be an explorer like you, but then I took an arrow to the knee. Cool

In a way you sort of answered yourself there. :)
Oh and 'Guristas Scout Outpost' - keep a watch for those, or maybe even a lookout.
