Your issue with pregnancy is interesting.

Alien film made good usage of innate fear of being pregnant combining it with facehuggers and aliens bursting thru the chests.

Some inspiration for new hairstyles.

Not every piece of clothing have to be pretty (shocking).
Some pieces are just practical.

The coat is bad, your opinion is bad, and you should feel bad.

If there's one thing you should have walked away with from the meeting, it is an appreciation for how constrained the design resources are for this aspect of the game. It's 2 people, for male and female designs. Two. That is it. And these guys appear to be doing all the backend work too.

It doesn't seem like the way in which you are expressing your opinion is a very good thing. I would like to avoid a communication style that is comparing the work of two obviously very overloaded design guys with "horses asses" and things like that.

Do you really want these guys to fix a problem that only yourself and Kate seem to have such an issue with (I've yet to see another person with this opinion), or would you rather they work on other things? I'm surprised I have to explain this to you. Our requests should ultimately constitute of very short lists and be laser focused on things we want the most that fit CCP's design philosophy.

Btw... could you look just a tiny bit more naked, Sibyyl?

That'd be great! ;)

I am sure she meant that noone in CCP wants it, because it was utterly difficult to make, she even statet that in the discussion.

Yes 2 people, and they work on interiors for trailers and such, but they do not do animations. Probably guy who does it for spaceships is working on it from time to time. So much for avatar content. Legion is heavy on those design patterns but moving anything to EVE from legion is unfeasible, they statet so. I would not drone on why the stuation looks like that, or who's responsible. :P

Not ****** at all... but ...

I am disappointed of this, tbh. I would have believed there is already enough financial impact
to make CCP realise the potential for a small team beyond two poor workers ...
... but as we probably won't get to know numbers .....

2 persons is also the manpower behind the whole audio and music of EVE (or so I hope, as one of the 2 developers in Team Klang left the company).

The big guns certainly are aligned with other interests. And all in all, CCP as a company laid off 20% of their employees since last year... including most if not all of the people who knew anything about Carbon-based avatars. Ugh

Have you thought of publicising your calendar on imgur or reddit?

If you are afraid of potential backlash from the bitter virgins ...
... I can handle that easily.

Publicising? Publishing? Pff, looking at you robs me of the words I need......

First I must finish the calendar... plans are to do it next week when I have 5 non-work days in a row. With only 1 model and Ishtanchuk pending, it should be doable. Cool

And yes, that's what I meant. Not that I've actually had any discussions on this recently, it was just a huge headache at the time.

Disturbing. Seriously. Someone needs to get the point across, that a bad design is bad, and was preventable. I realize the art team is putting in a lot of work. It's also another reason why it's very important to make sure the work they spend time on is worthwhile.

Another oddity about a small dev team for AUR store assets is the NES has the unique virtue of potentially paying for its own dev time through AUR purchases. It's a huge shame, but I suppose that's an issue with EVE culture overall.

Video games have three major parts: Business, Gameplay, and Art. Why is art so underappreciated that EVE has such a small dev team.

My faith in EVE (CCP and players) will be restored when Incarna happens, which is fine. It was blind in the first place.

Potentially. And what if you try to push more people in that dev team and towards Incarna and suddenly potentially it doesn't pay off? "Oh no. We have to lay off whole team because we don't have enough money to pay for tap water" Shocked

The sad guy will come, than this guys, and at the end...

I think they have to be carefull developing all those games at once.

I really don't care about your doom scenario example, or anyone saying Incarna was a failure. You don't get to trample on nice things then turn around and act like the failure is self-evident. Especially not when other games get the art thing right, and are full of visuals.
