My point was why give something only a fraction will use instead of something everyone will use. Its to bad you cant give the 20 days to someone else, it will just expire on my accounts instead of claiming because its useless to me.

I laughed at some of them, oohed at teh 20 day'er.

Was happy to see some folks become part of the lore, their names now permanently in the game.

so, I got a load of "stuff" in my hanger, thanks, but ... WTF am I supposed to do with them?

where is the skill I have to learn so that I can "use" this "stuff", or is it just for show?

Those are mainly amusing/comedy items - you don't get to "use" them

the gifts. you're using them wrong. you put them in cargo and lose them one at a time to make lossmails interesting. Pretty sure I'm going to redeem in null for that purpose.

hah. also, my male characters finally have not-default clothing. They look like settlers.

Sorry CCP - the odd fun item is cool, but I feel that you went a bit OTT and don't see why you couldn't have given something useful instead...

lol, for me personally, the best item was the jacket and I don't even load up the captains quarters room with the broken door. Roll

This is the coolest thing about the presents, in my opinion..
