Thank you CCP the 20 days character training was a really nice surprise.

I would like to say how good the new patches have been this year. With the current progress it is exciting to think what EVE will be like this time next year. Great job everyone and happy holidays!

Props to CCP for nice gifts (and for being clever).

A set of amusing gifts, plus the useful 20 days for training up alts provided AND the creation of demand/revenue from some players to keep training that alt with the multiple training option on their accounts.

I eagerly read thru the in-jokes represented by the 20 commemorative trinkets, and lol'd several times. Someone had a lot of fun writing this stuff! Some feedback:

In 2012, commemorative items were given out in random batches, not the complete set, giving something for completion-ists and market traders to do.

The 2012 items were .01 m3, these are huge at 3 m3, "books" larger than clothing items. Please consider an m3 adjustment :)

Guillome Renard's Sleeper Loot Stash: "Crate after crate, packed with Neural Network Analyzers and Sleeper Data Libraries which were collected by Guillome Renard during the research race of YC115."

WOW, I'm rich! Tries to redeem huge crate of sleeper loot... no NPC buy orders :( I think this one would be better described (something like) "a signed holoreel tour conducted by Guillome Renard, showing the warehouses and crates packed with Neural Network Analyzers and Sleeper Data Libraries he received from capsuleers all over New Eden, during the research race of YC115."

Titanium Plated Cranial Sheilding - Thank you *so much!* This is so much better than the crumpled tinfoil I've been using!

Snowballs - The first (unmelted) snowballs had a nice bit of flavor text ("...is bigger than your head..."), that has been lost in the shuffle of various meltings and re-constitutions. Please bring it back :)

Ya...that's like CCP handing us free isk....considering most people would just put it on the market unless CCP required it to be applied to the account and not put ingame. So the PLEX market would crash and would cause more problems/hassles then benefits to be honest.


@CCP - Thanks for the coat(needed to change mine! It's getting rather smelly!) and the 20days of multiple training. I actually needed to start training a logistics alt and never got around to it! Now I can. So when that's skilled up you'll be getting another sub from me! So you guys just made an additional $15 off me from that...(or in the cases where I can't drop another $15 someone made another 800mil to 1bil in isk.)

OK...what? Are you seriously saying CCP should even reward people who don't subscribe to their game? Seriously?!?! Afterall...CCP is a business at the end of the day. Why on earth should they reward people who don't even support them? If that's a reason to hate CCP - it's an insane one... Why should the company let alone playerbase, support someone who isn't currently supporting the game?

Thank you for the gifts. I really enjoyed the character recognition items, especially the thought that went into their creation. Happy Holidays.
