[Rhea] Huge performance loss on old old rig

So I have an old old desktop that I use for my Orca/Freighter toon, since it's too old and crappy to do anything else than moving around and boosting.
The following specs of the potato is:
Intel Platinum Core 3.4 GHz (single core)
nVidia GeForce 7300LE
1GB DDR RAM

All drivers are as up to date as they can get (which is not a lot).

Pre-Rhea it was running at 8-15 FPS depending on place and what I was doing (10 FPS undocked, 15 FPS docked) which was acceptable for the rig.
Now, after Rhea with the new lighting, I'm hovering at 2-5 FPS (mostly 3 FPS), which really becomes an issue (I assume it's due to the new lighting).
All graphics settings are still the same (everything on Low)
5-10 FPS loss might not seem like a lot, but this is a 60%-80% performance loss, and it can barely travel around now.

Perhaps an option to disable the new lighting, or automatic disable if bad specs are detected?

Well... bump?
With the recent patches, including the one that should fix the performance drop if windows overlap..
The FPS has dropped down to 2-3 from 3-4 while in space

They can not disable "the new lighting", because all art assets have to be adapted for it.

Link with an easy tutorial: http://www.marmoset.co/toolbag/learn/pbr-theory

They would have to ship two different sets of textures for everything affected ...
... which will, sooner or later, be literally everything you can see.

I checked the 7300LE.
That's a, and I quote this from nvidia, "lowest budget" card.

It's from 2006.

It's too slow.

Yes, I'm well aware that the graphic card is very very old, but as CCP wrote their PBR light block, they "simply" changed the formula on how light should react when it hits stuff.
I never expected the computer to do anything well, knowing that the specs are 6-8 years old, but knowing it could run stable at 15 FPS I was happy enough.

I don't know how much they have changed system wise to get PBR running, but from what I read in the Dev blog, it almost looks like a "simple" change in the light formula, so I don't see too much issue of having both formulas built in the clients, with only 1 of them running at a time

You are not the only one to take a huge performance hit....lots of ppl are reporting it...though i have yet to see a dev respond specifically to why it is happening and if they plan to fix it.
