Confirming. Tora uses Fedo's instead of bullets. They are surprisingly effective.

i will avoid coulerful language, but the statment is pretty true (the one above me). a full report will be typed up after the whole ordeal is over, but atm ican confirm that almost all pocos have been removed from 925 hands, both 925 and public enemy has lost corps/members and there's been minimal opposition since the station fight where public enemy's allies (empire control) lost 3 of their 4 guardians, we lost 2 thorax's.

Well now everyone knows who to hire to defend their pocos.

Great advertising!

I really wouldn't hire these guys to defend POCO's, they didn't turn up to a single timer. We fought them once off a station, they lost some guards, haven't seen them since.

I was looking forward to some decent fights, however what everyone told me was true. They'll only fight if they outnumber you or are willing to hang around the jita undock.

So there clients have lost around 5bill's worth of POCO's, say around another bill of assorted ships and also whatever these mercs charged for the contract. Value for money right there. Shocked

I hope you 're not still talking about Marmites. I'lll give you a hint, we do not have any poco's anywhere and we do not have a contract with the guys who's poco's you shot. Blink

just to clear some stuff up:

marmite was mention as they quickly hopped on the bandwagon of assisting in the defence of 925, with that said, marmite never showed up.

On the other hand, public enemy, forsaken asylum and autopilot engage was ALSO mentiond in the post/thread, though for some reason ppl only noticed "marmite".

So yes, marmite not here, but we'v been talking about public enemy/autopilot engage, forsaken asylum and empire controll.
hope that cleared some stuff up.

Never said you had any POCO's, in fact I never even mentioned you or your alliance. However as a mercenary alliance who joined the war on the side of the alliance who hired other merc's, it kinda looks like they've paid you to join? Or why else would you join the war?

Mercs gets hired to join and assist in wars VS other mercs, griefers or just other corp/alliances that want to take over stuff or drive other people out of business or off an area, or revenge, or whatever.

That's the basics of mercenary work.

Now, mercs also spend most of their ISK to delare 'fun' wars to provide content to keep members interested and logged in, as more often than not, Contract wardecs often ends up with WT players not undocking, playing at all or plainly leaving corp for duration of the war, which makes thing really boring for the merc groups, thus the 'fun' wars.

Joining corps at war is another way to get 'fun' and free wars, doesn't mean we, as mercs, are going to show up at timers or boring blue-balling if we are not specifically paid for it.

Maybe this will clear up some things.

Ahhh ok man, I'm new to high sec war/merc stuff so cheers for the heads up!

Well the moral of our little war is marmite and forsaken dec for the lol's (I don't blame you, from what you've described above, you need content!) and public-enemy and friends will dec you and assume you will roll over. When you don't and shoot them back, they dock up, start to move assets out and drop all war ally status.

If Id hired public-enemy, I'd ask for a refund Idea

Right, as christmas dinner sets in, its time to give an update in this. But ill start in chronological order.

We wake up to find Public-enemy wardecking us, alongside with Autopilot engage. We decided we wouldnt take any chances and rip down our pos and bunker down for station games.
While doing this we started our intel gathering and we soon noticed that we where not the only ones affected by this, and we noticed they where killing alot of pocos.

I later got convoed by public-enemy saying they want their island for some friends of thiers and they want us to move. i feigned that members where mostly afk and we would require weeks to get em online and move out. Why did i do so? because we where reaching out and slowly joining together enteties involved and touched by this conflict. This was our island, we where not going to be bullied with!

And so, the Hello kitty comitee (coalition) was born (the island is called hello kitty island) and we set about doctrins, importing them and getting people coordinated for fleets. While this was going on, we realized they where installing an alliance called nine.to.five. (925).
With a target in place, we where ready to attack and finaly go after someone who cant hide all their assets in the safety of a station dock.

We started our wardecks vs 925 and public enemy, marmite, forsake asylum quickly came into the decks as allies to 925, showing that it was indeed their intention to install them. Later the corp Empire control would join in aswell, though they provided primarly logistical support in form of guardins (witch we will come back to later;) )

As we where forming fleets and reinforcing some of the 45 pocos owned by 925 on the island, PE&friends where forming fleets to repping them, even useing neutral reppers. We never let our fleet get cought by them, but we where always in station, ready to go if they left. But progress was slow in the start since they kept repping. While waiting we started to use their neutral repper tactic against em, in that we used our own neutral alts to engange them (suspect timer <3).
After a period of such a harassment and a kill or two, they no longer repped orbiting, but aligend. then we started useing stealthbombers to initial tackle. quickly after they stopped useing neutral reppers for the pocos all together. Luckily we had a US presence who could reinforce pocos without interfearance from the hostiles, meaning they had to form fleets to repp every day.

The change came on the 8th of december. we formed a fleet pr usual, they did aswell and we wernt giving a fight at the time. so they moved to nearby lowsec system and started to shoot a poco belonging to an alliance in the coalition, even haveing a thanatos undocked.
We quickly siezed the moment and undocked our fleet and started shooting a 925 poco, whereupon public enemy&friends quickly stopped shooting in lowsec and rage-ran back to the system we where in to fight us. We quickly docked up and reshipped to our pvp ships. The enemy was hovering outside with their mega-navy, T3s and forementiond guardians.

We undocked a thorax to get them to agress...we waited 5 seconds while he faked warping off and bumping into station. they took the bait and we quickly undocked the fleet. they felt confident with their bling fleet and 4 guardians to back them up. but we had done our own preperation and undocked 2 scorpions with full rack of amarr jammers. Jams landed on first cycle and we primaried the guardians witch melted one after another. you could feel panick starting to spread as those not dual plated started to deagress, or if at distance, burn away and warp off. Before they managed to get all off, we melted 3 guardians, suffering 2 thorax losses in total.

After this, resistance was half-hearted at best and we quickly grinded through the rest of the pocos, replacing them with our own. Once all was replaced with our own pocos, we contacted 925 and offerd them an end to the war, if PE&friends dropped all wars against us, we would drop ours and let them go. Terms where discussed and agreed upon and the wars where retracted and helly kitty island started slowly to return to its old self, where everyone was welcome to mine, rat, explore or do industry.

Now for some fun facts and information.

925 killboard listing all their poco losses: https://zkillboard.com/alliance/99004826/
925 member graph as you can see here, quickly after we started decking them, they starting loseing members fast and in large quanteties. Alot left for just be in npc corp and continue mining, upon witch we applied suicide alt tactics to show that they are not welcome and cant escape by just dropping while the war is on

Public-enemy
As most will notice here, after the 8th of december, they also had a drop in members. this is right after we killed their guardians, and a clear turning point in the war/moral as resistance. They have recived a bump of members after the war though, from emprie control joining them.

So what happend?
- PE&Friends tried to install pets, we didnt want to. we fought back and decked pets
- Forsaken asylum, Empire control, Marmite, Public enemy and Autopilot engage quickly joined as allies
- We fought back, won and they ended up leaveing and accepting defeat

So thats what happend and conclude this, although we do have another fishy wardeck incomming from a diffrent merc. Hired on what seems to be quite false pretenses. might be we gear up and evict the alliance from where the person who contracted the mercs come from.

Nothing against mercs in itself, but always make sure you do ur research on contracts. not all are good, and some few might land u more trouble then its worth.
