Orcas have no porpoise being used for combat.

Discussion of certain 'tactics' results in posts being removed so you can rest assured there are going to be future nerfs to these ships.

AND NOW WITH THESE NEW FORUMS THEY EVEN NERFED THAT!

Next thing on CCP's nerfing list: posting on the forums and the usage of "aggressive" modules.

Hold on to your hooves, I am about to be BRILLIANT!

1. Scanning Nerf No. 2 is no nerf. AS far as I can understand it now works that you can see if its an anomalie/Structure or Ship if you are below 25% and couldn't before.

2. Orcas: So what? Still can do that in the station. And "picked on your frigate" is kind of nice wording, that is exactely what you wanted ;). It was "nerfed" because of those avoidance tactics described. That you didn't use those doesn't make them nonexistant

3. Scanning Nerf No.1 wasn't really a nerf ebcause now you can have more than 4 probes count for your scan which made it pretty much easier for everybody using 6 probes (Oktaeder being easier to form than Tertaeder ^^)

Stop whining and adapt like everybody else. Mission running carebears are stille asy targets as always so why do you complain? If they make PvP-Fits viable for PvE you should be more worried because of them fighting back effectively.

Orca's were removing all highsec aggro mechanics. In a second, you could store your ship, jet your pod out and be completely safe. 100% consequence free.

also, im not sure i ever ship swapped with an Orca to AVOID combat, it was usually into a ship to kill the bully of a mission runner who picked on my little frigate with his battleship

You always had the ability to completely avoid the consequences of your actions. Even if the battle in your bigger ship didn't go your way, you could tuck it back in the Orca and warp off. That sounds pretty "carebear" to me, the option to completely opt out of PvP.

Not so bad as that I still have no idea how to make a proper BM for a JF or the like at a gate or station. Real fun seeing them bumb off or land way too far to dock or jump instantly. What? What?

Is this a troll?
haven't seen many JF to the gate or bump off a station though i've heard of bump off a station before.
I usually warp to the station and then maybe fly towards it 5-10km and then cyno. That's how they can dock without bumping anything. I assume JF just cyno to station like that and warp to gate from there.

I thought it was because in a group of people when you pick on someone other people are less likely to pick on you. It's a way to ward off attacks against you. the side effect is that person's sadness. isn't it better that someone else is sad than feeling sad yourself when someone picks on you? I don't think people feel happy when they make others sad. I think its more that you feel safer, because you feel stronger?

I could be wrong tho, depends on the person.

If you like to analyse things too much then okay.
But I think if you do it in a computer game then it is less likely that you'd do it in real life.
also its kind of hard to find a spaceship like these sitting around on earth these days.
