Proteus Release Site - Interesting background

Sooo, I stumbled across the Proteus Release site, and was looking at the background animation.

a) it looks awesome

b) Caroline's Star seems pretty Prominent with what could be either lens flare or Wormhole effect around it

I want to know what the structure in the foreground is though, is it a ship, a structure? Is it mining or is that some other sort of movement on the inside?

Is it the long fabled Player Built Stargates?

Interested in thoughts?

I was hoping for something more interesting.

The point about Caroline's Star is still valid however

The planet under the outpost look like it has been shattered,which is interesting given the fact there are no outposts in shattered systems.

The green misty whatsit in the upper left of the image is Caroline's Star.

That's the explosion nebula from it going BANG!

this was the same load page for Rhea, only now we have the nebula and not the star. interesting times they are ahead

Hmmm, most interesting.

Seems pretty clear there is a Lore arc here leading to something, I for one can't wait to see what it is

I looked at the Proteus release page the other day and it was an image of Caroline's star before it disappeared, the image was the same as it appeared in the sky that day. It seems they are updating this page with a new image of the star every time it changes. Maybe the star's final form will coincide with Proteus's release or play a major role in it?

I like to take things from a NPE perspective. If it works for NPE and vets then it is a sound idea.
