Doing some hacking/data sites today, noticed little numbers in the nodes. Anyone else see this and whats it for?

The numbers are telling you how far your near a boost, the core or a yellow node

When did the wormhole forums become the 'Exploration Relic/Data sites' place? What?

Those sites spawn in wormholes now. In C1-C3 holes I believe.

We as a community don't say enough good things so here is an attempt to change that.

Those numbers in the hacking game have made a game out of it for me rather than a mindlessly clicking timesink. I appreciate their addition and have found it greatly improves the hacking minigame. The efforts of whoever did this are appreciated. Merry Christmas.

Pretty soon there will be an arrow pointing to the core.

That would just make it more embarrassing when I still managed to fail a hack.

Nice change for when I actually pay attention to it. Still haven't quite got out of the habit of mad clicking....

I've been finding that following the numbers directly to something "interesting" is getting me to click straight into a trap a lot of the time. Usually as it counts down from 5 or 4, #2 or #1 is a firewall or anti-virus.

Yeah, really. It's like "You will find the node that ruins this hack attempt in 3, 2, 1..."
