well for starters, he doesn't have any music. and the lethargy of his movements would imply either drugs or brain damage.

I looked at it again and it appears what I thought was a headphone wire was the zip for his jacket.

Yeah, he definitely has a portable player. The real idiots in this are the guy pushing him out of the tram and the other passengers who think it's funny to make fun of other people when they are not acting like they assume others should act.
