Sometimes even a loss can be a win.
I lunged into the fray, heedless of danger... which seems to be a recurring theme with me, and boldly flipped an Ishtar this morning. After a lively battle back and forth, in which I must say I actually did almost get him to structure before he remembered that his ship was bonused for large drones.... he dropped some fed navy ogres and proceeded to wtfpwn me. It was simply put, awesome. Everyone likes to win, but a fight that has both combatants on the ropes at varying points during the conflict is something amazing.

Afterwards I had a long chat with the victor, and laughs were shared as I helped try to get him down from the adrenaline high. He was downright giddy as he'd never really fought another player and was at the moment still trying to get the seat of his chair out from between his buttocks. This, I did not offer to assist with. He expressed a significant measure of awe that the mighty ishkur could punish his ishtar as severely as it did, and gratitude as well, as I had made his morning as entertaining as he had made mine.

I left a pile of pamphlets and a link or two for him to check out in hopes that what transpired this morning would help enrich his EVE experience, and I do believe that it may have.

Edit: I checked his killboard later and it seems he had actually fought before, but this had been his first real win. Still, props to this guy for being a good sport both during and after the fact. I think I may have piqued his interested when it comes to advanced frigates at the very least.

Come hell or high water, this sick world will know I was here.

More likely someone explaining why this player should have never engaged in PVP with his PVE ship.
I mean if they hadn't they would not have gotten a lovely killmail, a tidy little bonus from my bounty, and that sublime 'WTF' moment as they sifted through the wreckage and found a variety of drugs, strippers and for some odd reason a janitor.

Found this and realized it's an adequate parallel for Omar's bear flipping performance the last while.

The saddest part is these Devils folks keep CCing me on their mails to victims telling them to ask me for reimbursement. None of the victims seem to bother asking for isk, apparently convinced that it is all a scam and a way to humiliate them further. Maybe new tactics are needed?

Dammit Ralph. Shocked That video made me choke on my sammich.
I've been preoccupied lately with big game hunting, and it's quite addictive... but I'll start looking for a wide eyed newbro to show the joy of pulling off absurd kills in a frigate.

Or... Hey, Veers! Wanna learn how it's done? Twisted
I'll happily show you the ropes, you just need an incursus and a cheap clone to start with. Once you get a taste of it you may decide you like it. There's the bonus of cutting out all the middle ground, and you can just tell them directly to not PVP in their PVE ship after you've blown them up.

Granted, I usually like to go a step further with the ones that are willing to talk and give them some advice and helpful links for surviving if they do it again.

Come hell or high water, this sick world will know I was here.

Or maybe they read your shitpoasts and don't mind losing their ship in persuit of shutting you up.

"persuit"

Unclear how random PvE players getting blown up is going to be part of the "persuit (sic) of shutting [me] up."

I will continue to stand up for justice, free speech, PvE play, safety in highsec, and general good humor, no matter how many innocents die in the process. Death in the pursuit of justice is a trifling price to pay...all the more so in a spaceship game where losses can be easily replaced.

You get away from my chicken coop right now! Took forever to clean up after the last time, and the egg production has dropped significantly.

A trifling price to pay so long as you are not the one paying it. I find your general good humor to be in fowl taste to be honest.
Think of the chickens!

I think the whole point of the Crusade is to purge Hisec, not Lowsec.
