legion. the active duel rep legion is actually very good at c3-c2 sites. you want to bring scanning ship. pref anathema's (notice the plural) always bring like 3+ scanning ships you never know when your gunna need it. are you doing this all alone with no alts? If so make an alt and have them start training fro scanning and just trow them in the wh. you dont want to loose your wh if the entrance pops while your away.

RR and solo doesn't quite make sense? Are you planning on dual boxing?

I would second Billy's suggestion to have a char in a scanning boat or watching holes. Your Harbi or whatever ship should have a mobile depot, cloak, and scanning equipment in cargo.

I think you will find that there are better options than the harbi as you should be able to solo without the need for RR. You could play around with cheap T1 cruiser hulls like the maller and see what you can get done in a c2. Otherwise zealots or sacrilege would also be a good option.

Generally, RR setups tend to go with capless weapons platforms (drones, missiles, projectiles). Either way, welcome and good luck!

As long as you stay away from the legion you'll be fine. Amarr have good T1-2 ships.

I caught a guy running C4s in an archon. He seemed to be faring quite well until I got there.

Not sure why you'd say that? Legions are great. Great tank, apply dps as well in sites as any other comparable Amarr ship plus they look pretty! :p

Let me tell you what you're not going to need.

You won't be able to solo home sites, but you can run static sites ezpz. Also 4s now have two statics, so you may want to look into that...

Actually, I remember hearing of solo Paladins doing quite well in C4s. Is it not valid post RR fix?

Marauder or a pretty tanked out tengu if you are doing c4's. RR battleships work also.

C2, if you want to keep it a cruiser, either the legion or zealot will do. It's up to you.

Best option honestly, for a few on sisi, go to a wormhole and just try the sites yourself. You'll see the failings pretty apparently.

Yaay!!!!

except the literal opposite is true of all your points. (well ok, they do look good.)
their tank is average, their fitting is horrendous and their DPS is low.

If you say so. Work fine for me, guess I'm just doing something you're not. *shrugs*
What on earth are you trying to fit to find the fitting horrendous?

Personally I find both the HP buffer and cap buffer better than a comparable Tengu (which granted has more range), not really finding the lower range and issue as most rats I fight against are within 30km anyway
Not having to carry a tonne of ammo allows you to carry more loot and/or spare mods.

For some sites, maybe they are sub par - ie some of the ones with tonnes of BS spawning at range. But to imply they are a bad ship is a gross exaggeration.

Still works but is slower I believe. He can't fly a marauder though, unless I missed something in OP

With the amount of neuting in C4 sites nowadays, i wouldn't recommend using a legion. Maybe a couple of them but definitely not for solo work unless it's a C3 or lower.

C2: Don't even waste your time on those anomaly sites. Only thing worth running in a C2 is the pirate Relic/Data sites
C3: Dual rep legion will do you well. Be sure to include a large cap battery to help with the neuts. All T2 fit will work just fine. No need to bling it out. You're likely to get ganked in a C3
C4: Dual rep paladin w/ pulses. Include 2 NOS in the high and 1 long range smart bomb (7.5K range). T2 CCC for the rigs. Carry every kind of fitting imaginable in the cargo hold in addition to a tractor unit and several mobile depots. You will be re-fitting based on the spawn. cap power relays, cap rechargers, tracking computers, webs, tracking enhancers, etc. should all be in your cargo hold.
