Interceptors Mines

So for the last month we have seen many more interceptor gangs roaming deklein. I am not talking about combat interceptors i am talking about sub 2 second insta warp unlockable interceptors. To catch these things you have 2 options on catching them smartbomb them somehow or catch then in an anomaly trying to gank ratters. When you can have one person fly 4 interceptors and kill Hacs without even a chance at catching them on a gate other than smartbombs. How is it seen as a balanced ship? I ask for a mine that I can launch on a gate that lasts for 10 minutes before it self destructs that can only activate on inerceptors. Its balanced because it counters interceptors.

Btt: In general it is always a bad and stupid decision to introduce a complete new mechanic/ship/module/whatsoeva to balance a (broken) thing, when fixing the thing itself would be the far better way (and way easier). How would you want that mine to be implemented? What ship should be able to launch it? What damage and explosion radius? Activation delay, etc...? How to make sure it doesn't kill the movement of intis completely? Restricted to null/low/whateverspace?

Your concept isn't thought out well and in the current state is nothing more than ranting/crying about interceptors...

Actually the mechanic was already in the game CCP removed the mines from the game do to server lag they caused at the time. You can look them up and see the info your looking for just add a time frame where they sel destruct.

Given what happens here. I think you are doing it wrong if 4 travel fit inties are getting you down.

Aside from drone boats there are always recons, ECM, neuts, and damps.

Goons talking about balance. Rofl. Just like littering too many cans around a stargate is considered petitionable (lag), you can bet your bottom dollar if Eve still had mines, Goons would be mining those stargates until it was 1% Tidi.

Maybe stop AFKtaring. Roaming interceptor gangs really only catch those who are not paying attention to local or their intel channels. And I've seen my fair share of goon rattlesnakes warping away once I've landed on their anomaly.

So your idea to solve a (non-)issue today is to point to some ancient and totally unrelated stuff that has been removed for good reasons? And honestly, the info one "can look up" about those mines answered none of my aforementioned questions, basically because those mines back then existed in an altogether different meta/eve-environment. So please take the time and elaborate a bit on those questions of mine and maybe then we might be able to treat this thread-initial post as something other than forum-crying ;)

just do what you guys did to drones, abuse it by making huge interceptor fleets until ccp goes "oh that needs to be nerfed"
kind of what they did to drones "whats that an interceptor is being given an entire fleet's drones and 1 shotting supers? oh that needs to be nerfed."
