But realistically, people are almost never going to gank your 148k EHP skiff anyway. At that point you can just go out and gank some freighters.

No doubt, might just do it for the challenge, or if someone is being particularly obnoxious though.
Took me a while to actually find some that were ganked, it is rare, and the ones that do get ganked are shitfit.

Effectively being in a properly tanked Skiff is as safe as you are going to get in EVE apart from being docked up or logged off :P

Not sure if OP is trolling or anything but here goes...

Rules in EVE are simple. Anyone playing EVE is free to do as he wishes as long as he does not violate the EULA/Game rules etc.

Currently CCP provides 3 character slots to each account without limiting their uses. So if you wish to be a carebear in one and an annoying ganker in another you may do so. It is not a matter of right/honorable gameplay or not. We accept that the moment we press play.

Yes the rules in EVE are a bit "bendy" and have been exploited or rather pushed to the edges a lot, and will continue to be mildly abused on occasion. It is a necessary evil related to the sandbox nature of the game. However they are the same for everyone. In the rare case where "external" factors do alter that, steps to correct it are (sooner or later) taken (i.e some ISBoxer functions).

A simple tip as others mentioned...Whatever you do try to do it within a group. EVE is a multiplayer game with major emphasis in multi. Mining may be close to legendary boring for me or others but there are groups actually enjoying it. Find them, play with them and learn.

Lastly if or when you post anything related to ganking miners/other in HS be prepared for several amusing and useless comments from forum warriors who got insulted. Most ganker alts are a special forum breed. I like them... I even had one before getting bored of him. Pirate

Why do all these leet stories happen in High Sec? Oh wait, that's where the real action takes place.

The character does not represent the views/opinions of its Corporation or Alliance.

Holy flashbacks, Batman! For a minute there, I mis-read that as "Expect ganking changes come the new expansion, because the bounty changes will put those pesky gankers in their place and stop the endless bullying".

That is not a change to ganking.

The multibroadcasting ban is a minor buff to ganking. It's a nerf to the skiff more than the Mackinaw for multibroadcasting because of how often you need to input commands.

No, but it is to those who actually gank miners using ISBoxer.

Nobody uses ISBoxer to gank miners, freighters maybe and that would be less than 1% of gankers, but not miners.

I am the %1. I've used it to 2 man Macks by myself, and to 10 anti-tanked orcas by myself (only twice though).
I won't really miss it though, removing broadcasting from Eve is good for the health of the game though and will be a welcome change, despite it's affect on my activities.

So are you that wackjob who's twice now gone on runs to decimate Orcas in Silen/Vattoulen?
To clarify wackjob is a good thing in this case.

It would be pretty easy to kill this practice altogether by smacking anyone who loots a player wreckage that invoked Concord retaliation with the same response by Concord and sec hit as the original aggressor.

Effectively dropping a ganker's income to 25% of the target's cargo & fit. Why?
