Structures have been noted to disappear after a time, but no confirmed cases of what causes it, or how much time exactly elapsed, nor has anyone visited the exact site post-structure.

Just went through a wormhole to There and there was one of those structures in the system I went in. Maybe they are connected with the appearance of certain wormhole types.

No. Only in the system with the wormhole to Thera.

This could be an interesting theory - I'm not sure if this is entirely testable - I will fly across to a system that recently had a Thera wormhole in and check it out/ask the locals.

There is still a WH in the system I am monitoring.

I can also rule out any change of behavior after letting them scan me with the following objects in my cargobay;

Following up on my earlier post - systems that have recently had a wormhole to Thera do not contain unidentified structures in. However Yarebap did have one next door. We'd need to expand the sample size to find any correlation.

EDIT:

Two of the unidentified structures I have visited in the Domain region is located between 0.5-0.6au.

The systems in which I've seen these structures have only had 1 or 2 sleepers. But Malina Seraki's pics show 5. The increase in number is interesting.

I'm wondering if they are gathering materials to build more Circadian Sleepers. And each time the structure goes away, it is building a new sleeper. Or something like that.

This leads me to wonder what happens once it reaches a certain count? And can the count be reset or reduced?

I still think it's not many structures popping up and being cloaked but one structure being projected throughout the cluster. The Sleepers are out researching the appearances and study the effects of it on the surrounding system. Would not surprise me if it were actually the leftover in the heart of the star that went poof the last few weeks.
