Just wondering if it is still possible to make a tengu unprobable? Mine has a 3 ECCM and a Backup Array giving it a sensor strength of 183.3 and it's sig is 176.

Doesn't need to be indefinitely unprobable, just for a few minutes.

Cheers everyone Shocked

You used to be able to but no longer. You are doing about the best one can.

cheers guys, its only for a few minutes I want to be un-scannable so fingers crossed and keep my eyes out for probes :)

You can increase resistance but never be unprobable

Yaay!!!!

Someone with Virtue implants will always be able to scan you down.

You would be unprobable to the vast majority of probers. A perfect-skilled prober with Virtue implants will still be able to find you, but even then it would take some time.

It is no longer possible to be unprobeable. But you can be very difficult to probe. As said above, you can fit your ship such that it would require a max-skilled and virtue-implanted pilot in a bonused ship to scan you down.

what about projected eccm? would a pair of tengus eccming each other still be probable?

I should buy an Ishtar.

Yes, as the personal modules give greater bonuses than the projected you would have less total sensor strength in that scenario.

(Not in game to verify but I believe these were changed to have lesser projected effect, same as Remote Sensor Boosters, and even if they were the same strength, the answer would still be the same)

Projected modules have a greater effect than the personal moduels, but I'm not sure you can actually become unprobable.

IIRC there's some sort of hard cap on how hard it is to probe you down. Basically, as long as you maintain certain SenStr/Sig ratio, you're doing as good as possible. I don't remember much atm though and I can be wrong. IIRC making sure that said ratio is >1 is what you should aim at.

Correct me if I'm wrong.
