can we get weekly top5 lists from ccp about everything eve related, post the link on the eve launcher for us to see.

- top5 community created videos for this week
- top5 video guides for this week
- top5 best screenshots
- top5 ingame events

etc.

How would this be chosen? You'd need someone to specifically watching all the community happenings 23.5/7 and bias would be a serious issue.

could be an internal vote from ccp employes

alternatively community voted (ccp chooses 5 items on the list, community decides which one is nr1, nr2, nr3...)

Is there even enough stuff happening in the first place? The list for video guides and ingame events would contain very similar entries every week.

And, as Adrie pointed out: How do you define good? Is Blow Job good, or Spectre Fleet or RVB-Ganked? How is a Public Revenant Gank worse or better? And who decides that officially?

Players can do that already on the various news outlets we have, but CCP should definitely stay out of that as they already have terrible manpower shortage for their development departments.

That doesn't answer the question. Voting requires a shortlist, where would that come from?

That doesn't answer the question. Voting requires a shortlist, where would that come from?


alternatively the top5 lists could be in a "link format" meaning that ccp only provides the links to other peoples websites which are noteworthy

I honestly cant be bothered to look for trustworthy community created content, I rather rely on ccp to provide legit info

The eve online show on twitch is already showcasing community created content on a monthly basis, which is cool but it doesnt have an overwhelming amount of views because the twitch platform is not for everyone and a lot of us just want practical source for information http://www.twitch.tv/ccp/b/598169407

About live events i know i recently ran a small bomber op out of Warp To Me incursions and it got some airtime on the "eve live events" channel or something and it was the only listed event. Now that was on a friday night (night for euro late afternoon for USA) but the list was for the entire week...

Not sure if that channel is as "the go to place" as the name suggests but if it is...

wouldn't the CSM be better placed to spend their time on this and ahve the ccp staff working on the game?
