Nightmare and Phantasm look better now IMHO

and color comments not issues...

Ofcourse the biggest thing imo is the fact that my precious machariel has gone from "glorious almost black sort of high polished ebony sheen" to "its brown"... Same with the bloodsoaked brother of the 'geddon, that just looks like a brownship with a ketchup stain instead of an ungodly terror made of neuting and death...

And dont get me wrong i LOVE the new shader they make every thip that isnt pirates look much better, tis just that some ships seem to have gotten a few tints lighter and that combined with the matte varnish they seem to have gotten coated with somewhere makes them seem plasticie.

Pitching in my 0.02 with the OP. Most of the ships look much better but the ships mentioned above, especially the ones with glossy blood-red and glossy black, look worse now than they did before.

Modus Legion = matte black
Angels = mottled black (tiger shark)
Blood Angels = black and crimson (this is a colour change request)
Sansha = rainbow/metallic green (Phoebe)
Guristas = original camouflage pattern (Phoebe)
Sisters of Eve = not black

I'm mainly concerned about us playing on Low shaders. Everything looks plastic fake right now :/
The Impel (low shaders) has gone from mysterious grey/dark, deepspace to "someone threw a bucket of grey painting on me in broad daylight"

While the new PBR makes all the ships shine fantastic, it's just too bright.
IMO, EVE went from "mysterious dark space" to "bright open space" in most cases - barely anything dark left

Could any of the devs responsible for PBR, the UI or designing either one of them actually post in the appropriate thread instead of supporting the non-legitimate method of posting a separate thread per every issue?

CPP did a really fantastic job so far with PBR but it is true that some ships seem unfinished:

I will talk about Duvolle or gallente navy ships for example (because its the ones i fly most) :

If you compare the jawdropping, gorgeous new Megathron (that thing is perfect!) with the Kronos for example , you will notice the Kronos is missing a lot of the details and depth the mega has.

Gallente ships in generals seem to have 4 shaders: the metallic grey, the chrome , the green and a dark metallic grey texture, duvolle ships and navy gallente ships only seem to have 2 different shaders.

It seems the Duvolle ships all suffer from this and there is a bit of inconsistency in materials aswell: the astarte's brown texture is very shiny compared to that of the kronos and nemesis which both look better.

On a side note, i'm a big defender of camo in space (because why not?) but the gallente navy green camo is contradictory with the blingy black chrome which makes the ships far from camouflaged ;) either ditch the camo or tune down the shine on gallente navy ships to make more sense. A carbon fiber look with flat olive green? That'd be gorgeous!

Creodron ships now look maybe too close to T1 ships. Maybe invert the green and grey shaders? :D

Another side note Aliastra edition ships have lost there bright orange stripe which is now dark red, and less 'colorfull gallente flavored' which is reminding me of the gorgeous old gallente shuttle ;) (btw the NES is still showing the old incursus model)

Congratz again CCP , PBR is really a giant leap forward!

The Providence and Ark need their 2-tone gold accent color back (as stated countless times already); the current 1-tone gold plating looks cheap and pimpish. In addition, the Ark's red base color is in dire need of adjustments.

I think who ever put the colour in put too many F's in and didnt add the 0's
