All active players in Amarr FW should receive recognition for their effort in gaining 100% control of the warzone ( good work everyone !! Big smile). But they should only be given out to those who put forth an effort to make this acheivment possible, therefor only those who did something within the last few months or so should be applicable, I recall seeing seveal hundrad people in the mititia chat some days and only a small handfull of pilots would answer the call for help. Perhaps, everyone should receive a medal to some degree, but, those whom put in the most hours and the biggest efforts should get a medal that reflects the amount of time and effort put into the capture of the warzone ( for example the amount LP earned over a certain period of time, amount of enemy faction kills, time spent in or amount of complex's captured, time spent in the Amarr milita, and those who FC'd us to victory ). I say this only because it feels like a lot pilots joined us in the end just becuase of the high LP payouts while saying " I want to fight for the Amarr ! ", but these pilots where no wheres to be seen when we were getting T1 and T2 level of payouts...

I strongly feel as though there should be some means of distinguishing between those who were just there at the time from those who made this acheivment possible.

I suggest they offer 3 teirs of medals : One for just being there at the time, something that sats say I may or may not have paticapated or contributed, but i was in the militia at the time, this could be a bronze medal. Another that would show this individual put in some time and effort and was in the Amarr militia for a good while, this would be the silver medal. And lastly a gold medal that would say something like I spent most of my Eve career fighting for the Amarr and these are the pilots that made this happen by putting in the biggest effort and the most work !

Many pilots have made tremendous efforts to achieve victory in serious fights with the enemy. All deserve a legitimate reward for their contribution to the common cause. We stood shoulder to shoulder, defending their systems and fought like lions in enemy systems. Each pilot in our glorious army deserves a medal for his bravery. Everyone who defended their systems. Everyone who conquers the enemy system. Everyone who fought in space. We all deserve their awards at this historic moment. So let the Empire did not forget their heroes. Glory of the Empire! Glory to the Heroes of the Army. We are waiting for our medals.

the trick is to stay in FW when the pvp part starts

how to fix eve: 1) remove ECM 2) rename dampeners to ECM 3) add new anti-drone ewar for caldari 4) give offgrid boosters ongrid combat value

You better be careful what decision you will make.

ITS REALLY HARD to get total WZ control. Because how often it happend before ?

Pretty sad that you even take into consideration option that there won't be medal for this.

We enslaved those scoundrels ... i'm sure Jamyl Sarum want to give us nice medal for that.

Well if not all Minmatar bailed once things got serious you wouldn't have to shitpost. And please don't forget how often Amarr was close to losing the Warzone but denied you the medal.

Stop being so bitter, you surrendered instead of fighting so shut up or rejoin FW.

Only been in the Militia for a short time, closing on my second year now but certainly in this last year some pretty interesting things have been happening in the militia.

Seen Dust modifiers allow Amarr Hub Bashing fleets to roll through systems in a single evening.

Saw the Siege of Huola (biggest conflict I've yet been involved in) and the fantastic fleet fights at Destroyer and Cruiser levels that were generated.

Saw the Fall of Huola a couple of weeks ago and the massive united Amarr Fleet on field.

Grinded through plexes and solo/small fleet fights in between (not in the correct time zone for those bigger ones) and I only played a tiny, arguably inconsequential part, but regardless this feels like an achievement, and one I kinda oddly proud to be a part of.

I know I'd certainly like to see those old warworn bitter vets get their medals.....still I'd shamelessly like one as well.

When I was at EvE Vegas I asked Fozzie if Gal Mil would be getting another medal, since I wasn't around for the first one. He said that Amarr and Minmatar have a better chance of getting a medal than we would getting a second one, since they have not gotten full control yet. But I do remember the older gal players said it took some time to get the medal. Congrats though, I hope you get your medal.

And I still want mine...

You know what, I'll support Amarr getting a medal for their warzone control. But I think everyone in FW should ask for a christmas present from CCP...


... Fix the awful mechanic that allows the warzone to be flip flopped by LP farmers. The last change did nothing, farmers are still stabbed to the eyeballs, and just using drone ships to defeat the rats now. Get rid of missions, they do nothing for the warzone, and just encourage LP farmers. Introduce timer rollbacks to make it worth staying and fighting for your plex. In short, make it so that warzone control needs to be ORGANISED! (Yes, I know this will probably hand the Amarr another total control win because Minmatar is woefully disorganised, as befits a bunch of rebels)
