Hi,

Running under ubuntu 14.04, Wine 1.6.2

Have JUST switched from a windows box for work, so no idea if it's an ubuntu, or a rhea issue...

Keyboard shortcuts that exist from install work, (e.g. orbit) but going to the ESC menu and trying to set new ones doesn't.

The "press new shortcut now" dialog comes up, and when I press a key the screen background changes (lightens a bit) making me think it registered the key press, but the content is still "none" and the dialog doesn't vanish or anything.

Anyone know what it might be? or how to set up shortcuts via an ini file or something?

Was really looking forward to giving manual piloting a whirl but can't :(

I have the exact same problem on Windows 7 64. Shortcut remap gives no response. And this occured only today after fix.

Sounds then like a bug in the patch rather than a specific linux issue.

Will have to wait a while for manual flight then I guess.

BTW, have you submitted a bug report yet, I'll check it on my home machine tonight - and submit one if not.

I have this issue too, albeit on Ubuntu 12.04.
If Windows users have it too, it makes me happy it's not a Linux issue :)

I have the same problem.

Running eve under Ubuntu 14.10 Wine 1.6.2
I can clear default shortcuts and restore them by setting all shortcuts to the default,
but no chance of setting own shortcuts.

My corpmate got the same problem he is running eve under Win7 64.

I have this exact binding issue (by the sounds of it) on my Windows 7 eve client.

Had other people tell me they're experiencing it too.

Been filing bug reports. :)
