Hi there.

My sugestion is that CCP apply on test server some kind of a free number of skillpoints, so the players can access some other ships, items and everything else for testing purposes.
After all, this is only a test server.
This skillpoints should be free as i said and can always be realocated at players wil.

This will help players to improve their accounts, once they can test a limited number of items or ships before they can use them in game.

Best regards

i have to go with him on this.
and it would take a lot off the ccp people from haveing to mess with as well.
when we first start an account on test server just have it give max out sp.
we can test what ever we like when not helping at masstest and can use what ever yall need at the mass tests.

The test server wasn't made for you to test ships and fittings for TQ

Attend Mass-tests if you want unalloc. SP

QuestionQuestionQuestionQuestionQuestionQuestionQuestion

The test server services are not to test ships and fittings?
So why test server ara available for all players even when theres is not any mass test?

Did i miss something anywhere?

The server is open to the public so players can help looking for bugs.

As a side effect we can test ship fittings as well, but that is not the main purpose. It's just a perk.

As others have pointed out, feel free to participate in the masstest and get 2 mil SP per test. If you take part on a regular basis, you will always have some spare unallocated SP, even after a new mirror.

Well i didn´t knew that, and thanks for your explanation.

However SP for free allocation in any case, could help players to decide what is best for them.
We all knew that players influence other players on their choices, and many times they regret to do what others have told´em to do.
How many accounts we all know that have many useless SP and how many players doesn´t even know to speak any of the support languages?
The barrier language we cannot transpose, so that players are always be afected by other players on their choices, on the end their accounts can have many SP but are useless.

Test server is good for testing purposes before new releases, but can also help players to improve their accounts and their skills.

Hope you agree with me.

The testserver is for the finding of bugs, and indirectly also letting you test your ship fittings (The two go hand in hand, but the fitting is not the main reason for it being here). It's also a free service they let us use which indirectly benefits us (We find bugs faster than they can due to numbers, they fix the bugs), but it's not a right and really anything they do on it has to be worth their effort to do.

As far as free SP goes, this really depends on how much you mean. For instance, I (And many others) have suggested increased skill training, or something along those lines. However, nothing like this will happen as it would hinder the effort of finding some of the bugs (For instance, it could skew the results for skill training and hide or cause a bug, or it would make it so a bug at a low level of a skill isn't found because everyone has a high level, etc).

As for low amounts of free SP, you get this for participating in mass testing. If they gave it out free it would remove some of the incentive for people to participate in the testing.

All in all, I don't see the system changing at all.

how many people are on the test server on a daiy basis and how many of those are finding bugs ?

In my point of view - if you give incentives you attract more players to help improve the game.

And let's face it, how many are just playing constantly in FFAs and never reported a bug even if they found one? Those are the kind of people a free SP bonus would bring more of. Anyone who wants to improve the game for everyone by reporting bugs is here already.

What IS it with the recent influx of self-entitled chucklefucks onto SiSi recently, and why do they all have atrocious grammar?

I want free skill points that I can put on anything I want because Im too impatient to wait for my skills to level up.

This will help me improve PVP skills by flying ships I dont know how to fly or fit and I can learn to how play eve and by only playing on the test server.

May I remind you that, on the death day (when they gave all level 5 skills) to test the new capitals. EVERYONE came and thats what they wanted.

Now why is this a bad thing? Because, you would think people with common sense would inform ccp of bugs and issues... but all the player base did was test out fittings they will never themselves be able to fly, Ever. 100% of player base sat in a titan, clicking the doomsday button. Not clicking a submit button.

What the lady above me said.

The test server is for us and for you to test the game as a whole. Many people use the server to test new fittings but it is not meant as a PvP arena free of consequences.
If you want to get some free SP you can attend the mass tests and help us find bugs and get rewarded with SP for that.

and there you have it... right from ccp themself... :)
witch works well for me being i dont care anything for pvp.
im a builder.
i have learned a lot on the test server.
and i go to every mass test and do my part.
after that i go back to doing what i what to learn more about.
i run across a bug from time to time and report it.
so quit bothering people trying to ask ccp stuff about the test server.
if they want your input they will ask.
