When I read this I laughed.I know this is a game,but its not a toy.ALL the Gallente ships look like badly made toys.In some cases they look like nasty foil balloons filled with helium,think Dominix,haha. So far aint spotted any realism.Shading is worse,colours are worse except for the dull grey on my Mammoth.I quite like that.

I seem to be unable to set shortcuts in the Esc Options window. I select the shortcut, clear it, hit edit shortcut and that little window pops up, but mashing any keys on my keyboard does absolutely nothing, except the background goes a little lighter like the focus is now on the previous options window. I'm just re-logging now to see if it fixes it, and if not, I'll go write up a bug report.

manny people can´t asign shortcuts and they are complaining here. why is not listed as an issue ?

New UI has major issues in performance department guys. I play for awhile (random amount of time) and then FPS goes to 15 from 50+. If i turn off the UI it goes back up and restarting my machine makes it all better for a few more minutes at least.
Just letting you know there are issues, several friends have same exact issue. My comp is not too old or slow so don't give me that line :)

Keyboard shortcuts problem is just fixed on SiSi.

Well that is good to hear.

I actually went as far as to install EVE on another machine on a fresh windows install just out of curiosity. Problem still existed. :(

Is not a problem from our end.
This issue occurred by Rhea 1.1 patch.
So you can't do anything even if you reinstall the client.
Just be patient and wait for another patch to fix the issue.

I don't know if anyone else has noticed this but:

Occasionally, for no apparent reason my client stops rendering cloaks, warp tunnels, jump animations and stations. They all still work (I can dock, assume I am cloaked, warp around, and jump into new systems) but the animations and models that go along with those events simply do nothing.

If I relog that fixes the issue, so it's definitely client side. Anyone else noticing this?

That appears to be at max graphics settings. I'm used to having Shaders set to low, because it helps FPS when there's a lot of ship models onscreen. Which meant that I saw the Celestis looking like a slightly duller version of the above pic, but clearly quite similar.

Now here's the new Celestis, with all graphics (except HDR) turned up to max:

Looks awfully boring, doesn't it? The texture mapping is mostly gone. For example, under the row of 7 dots about 1/4 from the top of the ship, the old look has corrosion/smoke dirt coming downwards. The new look, that detail is just gone. And let's not get into the shiniest parts… zoom in on those and you don't even see surface anymore, it's black with blue-green or silver glow. All lighting, no texture.

Finally, let's see what happens when you move Shaders back to low, to help that FPS (but everything else at max):

Just terrible. It looks like a prototype model of the old one, maybe made out of plastic. Note that the texturing is not gone precisely, but looks really poor compared to the old model (the corrosion trails are still gone, not merely erased by the shininess).

I can't believe that this is what CCP intended… and lest you think this is just limited to a few ships, try looking at some Amarr ships with Shaders set to low. They also look awful compared to the pre-patch appearance.

So sum it up with Gallente vs the rest of the ships:

Seems as though someone forgot to do their job and left out the textures/colors completely for all medium gallente hulls.

OMG fix the dam screen dim on popup windows, and fix the damn fleet list where it drags the whole damn fleet instead of the ONE PERSON I CLICKED ON!

1.1 Patchnotes included a fix for the UI coloring matching factional ship, but when I logged in last night and jumped in a Cruor, it kept the Amarr theme.

This is a minor gripe, the major UI issues (black background on popups, selecting all in a fleet window) seem to be mentioned above me.

Can't wait to dual box my Dust toon and EVE toon on the same machine!

I found two issues

Sometimes, after a gate jump, there's a dotted circle around the button of the Covert Ops Cloaking Device II.
The cloaking device seems working, but the circle remains all the time until I deactivate it, then around the button start the usual CCW progress.

In the Personal Locations, each folder has an eye icon.
Before the patch the eye turned green to indicate that locations are visible in the compass, or grey when this option is off for that folder.

Yesterday I've seen that the eye icon is always the same color, making difficult to know if the content appears in the compass or not.

Similar issue is on the eye icon present in the context menu of the compass.

I am unable to set shortcuts. I reset them to default to try to get the navigation shortcuts set and now I can't play. I don't use a qwerty layout which makes the default useless for most things so I need to be able to set my own shortcuts.

When can we expect a fix for this?

I have problems with route planning. When I do some wh daytripping I usually "anchor" destination somewhere to see if I hop back to the wh or if I take the route via known space.

Since patch I cannot set the route correctly, everytime I emerge from the wormhole the destination is "unreachable". Deleting cache helps only for one jump, then it falls to work. Annoyance par excellence.

Once more:

I reinstalled newest graphics drivers , cleared all **** from PC , but after this patch my both ACC stopped playing nice . FPS when out of station drops to about 10 . It became very unpleasant to play , no pleasure at all. More windows, tabs , , more LAG LAG and LAG . I am not the only one , there are many people with this problem.

CCP , tell us at least something...like we are working hard to find out problems.... do not hide, people need answers, cause we pay salaries for you Blink

P.S. Definetly there are programing errors somewhere.

Regardless of color theme selected, it is very difficult to see in-game window boundaries against a black background such as the solar system map used when scanning or black backdrop in space, especially when there are a lot of windows open and randomly overlapping. I have inadvertently closed windows and chats numerous times due to visual confusion. Prior to Rhea, I was able to adjust the contrast/color of windows such that I could actually distinguish between them easily. Now, not so much. The color themes do not provide enough visual information about where window edges are, regardless of which theme is selected. I would like to be able to *at least* adjust the background color of my windows so it was not black.

Here's an example of the problem I'm having. This is on high quality graphics, transparency at around 20%, Sisters of Eve theme selected. Solar system map is open, as is market, wallet, Local, D-scanner, probe scanner, overview, selected item window, and stacked chats. Could this be any more visually confusing?! The solution is so simple...let me change the background and border color of my windows to something not black.

Multiple chat windows .....

When you have more than one window blinking (chat notification) and select one, they all stop blinking.



So far, it's the only thing I've noticed.
