Hey Everyone!

We are having a meetup! Load up your PLEX, set your autopilot, leave your house and come meet some Eve bros IRL and have some drinks!

Where:The Broken Rack, 5768 Peladeau St, Emeryville, CA 94608

When: Saturday, December 20 at 5:00pm to Whenever are tired

Who: You, your nerd friends, other Eve people you know, whatever. Note that the venue is age restricted 21+. (could probably sneak someone below in but over 18 for sure!)

Why: Drink booze, shoot some pool, chat with Eve bros (and/or lady-bros).


If you’re in the SF Bay Area in California (or want to visit), come kick it with us! Also, go post in this thread if you are coming so we have some idea how many to prepare for.

Looks like you and another character is hosting this event. I was just wondering if you'd like to have it advertized in the California Eve Players (USA) thread as well as post a notice in the California Capsuleers message board ?

If you're not hosting the event then please have the host contact me asap.

OK, I listed your Eve Meet details in the California Eve Players thread and posted the details in the California Capsuleers message board.

Please check the details and let me know if it's ok.

If you intend on promoting more Eve Meets in the future, I highly advise you to join California Capsuleers. After which I can then appoint you as Event Host which would allow you to post Eve Meet notices on the message board.

By the way, the California Eve Players thread can be used as a mailing list by sending an Eve Mail message to those who live in the general area.

I have to go to work in a min. I will be updating the venue today, as the place is extremely loud and small... (not exactly the best place for anything more than 2 people ;) )

That's an unfortunate change of venue.

Not going to be able to make it Emeryville now. Emeryville isn't even accessible by BART btw.

What you can do is...

- take BART to the West Oakland station... cost variable
- hop on the #26 bus until you reach the Hyatt Hotel (right next to the Public Market)... cost is $2.50, one way.
- take a 5-10 minute walk to the location.


Plus, some of us will be driving to the venue so you can always ask for a ride to the nearest BART station at the end of the night (MacArthur Station isn't that far away either, but I don't see any bus routes to/from it). Smile

If you get off at mac-arthur bart you can take the free bus (Emery go round)

Shellmound powell runs on saturday get off at stop 8 by the public market there is a bridge that crosses the tracks and will put you right by it!
