We need to get a pool going.

Everything in EVE is a trap.

And if it isn't, it's your job to make it a trap...:)

Well, I know my confessor lost his shizzle when I told him what I did with that Thai hooker last weekend...
oh, wait. You're talking about something ENTIRELY different, aren't you?

Come hell or high water, this sick world will know I was here.

Well I certainly know how I'll lose my first one (or two).
that probe bonus has me inclined to see if I can use one for mission flipping.

Yeah I know it's tracking sucks balls( so it can't deal with drones) but outside of that it might actually work.
the gallente one should be a no brainer for it though but I can't resist the urge to try it with the confessor.

Use sulfuric acid instead. Neutralization afterwards with NaOH.

Easier to get and much much safer to handle.

Pro Tip: If you want to increase reactivity, add a bit of Hydrogen Peroxide to the acid. But careful so that you don't get a build-up of organic peroxides - they can be explosive upon heat, friction, and shock.

Super awesome advice, thanks!
Any tips for getting blood stains out of clown pants?
(They're my favorite pair, so I really don't want to part with them) Cool

Easy.

For fresh stains, always use cold water (hot water will denature the proteins in the blood, making them hard to remove)

For old, dry stains you can mix a paste from fresh lemon juice and salt (a lot of salt and little lemon juice).

Apply, leave to react for about 2 hours, rinse with salt water, wash.

Cheers, your Chemist.

This will work but is labor intensive. The quick and easy way is to drop the pants on the body, apply kerosene and a flame source. Kerosene is recommended due to non explosive, it soaks in well before ignition and it burns slow and hot (what's not to like?) This works for anything that is non-porous and flamable - it's not just for clown pants. Cheers.

Back on topic, I'd wager that the first Confessor loss is a suicide gank in Jita.

I'll toss 10mil into the pool. Whoever guesses closest wins. This thread only. Post your guesses (and any additions to the pool) here. No repeat guesses.

EDIT: Well, that was fast. First Confessor loss here. in Jita, to a Vexor. Uncertain if suicide kill or not. Given that said loss happen after I posted my pool contribution, and that my guess was accurate anyways, I hearby award myself the 10mil I put into the pool. Roll

Already happened Doesn't look like a suicide gank. At least that was lost to a Vexor, the same person lost another to an incursus 45 min later. Ugh

Yeah, I just saw that. Already edited my post.

As an aside...holy crap, 1 BILLION ISK KB value. Nice.

EDIT: Holy crap, the same pilot lost the first two Confessors in Jita within an hour. Good lord.

I don't think there is a good way to sort km, but thinking back, most of the 'first losses' belong to various goonswarm pilots on the jita undock. I think it's a 'thing' with them.

First Confessor kill also looks like a blatant KB padding job, albeit not by Goons.
