I like where this is heading. Depending on how much time I have beforehand, I may also try to FRAPS my end of the fight.

I did a little set-up work in our mutually agreed-upon system. I created a safe spot that is off D-scan from all celestials and anchored an object there for reference. The system itself was virtually empty last night, although an adjacent system was rather active so I advise caution while in transit.

Also, be aware that 2100 EST on 11 December translates to 0200 EvE Time on 12 December. That's roughly 13 hours, 40 minutes from the time of this post.

Are there any interloper prizes for say a guy that busts said super secret safe spot and wonks both of these nubs during their glorious epic combat? For instance my thanatos carrier for the victor would, by default go the say a guy in a smartbombing whatever that lands on them and ends them. It pains me to mention such an eventuallity, but this being eve....

The hero points alone would be enough for a person such as myself, but there are those that like that little bit extra.

I think it's only fair to point out at this juncture that IAW the eve rules of fair is fair - were I to somehow be the one to intercede and pop them both, then obviously they would both owe me thanatos carrier.

PS. I have a few of the truncated old school deep safes lying around if you would care to use one of them. They are on average 50 au above or below the plane, so it's not like someone would likely be able to probe you out during the fight. Giving you one of these ancient gems would of course exclude me from any interloper prizes (IAW the eve rules of fair is fair).

I appreciate the deep safe offer. I can't speak for Leto, but on my own behalf I'm going to pass. We're already staged (or are staging) and changing the venue this close to the event may prove difficult. I have a few of them saved off myself, but they are located in systems that were, for other reasons, undesirable.

What you do with your prize Thanatos is your business as far as I'm concerned. I'd prefer we not have interlopers as my goal goes beyond just getting a clean 1v1 and actually settling this issue in the eyes of Crime & Punishment and the Oh Blessed Mother.

Not sure if it's too late for this, but occasionally Eve fights are over before you know it. Any chance of you guys making it a best of 3 or a best of 5? I'm thinking of the fans here.

So far the Jita locals have been unresponsive to my BFFMFFFA advertisements. Hmmm, maybe I should be doing this on a character that was not previously used as a Jita local scammer... I'm probably on half of Jita's block list. I know I was on my own block list when I bought Tengu.

Rematches may be possible at a later date, but I would be unable to stage more properly fit cruisers to our designated system prior to the event. I'm not expecting to lose, but when planning X out of Y fights, always be prepared for Y number of fights.

I could make jokes about my tank being super tough and the fight lasting forever, or being in a paper-thin gank fit that could die almost instantly, but that would be bad OpSec. Blink

Through the clever use of locator agents and burning several deep cover spy alts, I have been able to ascertain that Bronson will be sporting a heavy missile armor drake with a full rack of sensnor damps in the mids and I caught Leto borrowing the keys to Mammy Thules black bird this morning and heading out with a big box of small autocannons and one medium beam lazor.

(Leto, if you see a box on the back seat roughly 2 feet long 8 inches in both depth and width with a Big Daddy label on it - please don't open it)

Unfortunately, my laptop will not support FRAPS without reducing my framerate to hilariously low levels. Not only would it almost certainly cost me the match, it would be a very boring video.

Must buy new computer. This is the same one I used back in 2009....

Um... yeah.

There will be some disappointed viewers tonight. I cant get the twitch stream to work over like 2fps... and then it crashes my EvE client as well... If anyone has some tips on using Xsplit broadcaster (the streaming tool I downloaded) Id be happy to hear them.

Ill try to use the local recording tool and post the fight when its over. I dont think its my hardware, I just built this setup two years ago...

Anyhow, one hour until fight time. Time to go get an officer fit vigilant with faction drones and a cargo hold full of PLEX....
