Just stumbled across one of these structures in Uchomida, Black Rise. I also encountered three Circadian Seekers on the gate to Samanuni. On of them scanned me before the group warped off. Location recorded in database.

EDIT: Found another one in Onnamon, Black Rise. Circadian seekers have scanned the structure and are just standing by. Give it a wide berth...just in case.

My drones failed to engage it when I gave order. Someone tried to smartbomb one and nothing happened.

These Circadian Sleepers seem to have a very simple program - scan anything in range. They have scanned the warp-in beacon of the unidentified structure, my ship, my Sister probes, trade ships at a station, asteroids and various cargo cans I dropped with different items. Nothing triggered any reaction. So far.

Just relogged after the emergency downtime.
As soon as I undocked from a station in Hi-Sec I encountered some sleepers drones, only few km away.
After few minutes they left.
The system was Yuhelia in Domain region.

You know. I've seen a lot of sleepers and a lot of sites. And one thing I can't help but realize, is the possibility that these cloaked structures were around the entire time. And these unarmed sleepers are here to do something about them, fix them or whatever, and are as geared for combat as a repair drone.

From our perspective these structures just appeared, but like that strange star, the light of which defies physics, what "appears" is not necessarily obedient to the concept of "where" and for how long.

If this is a network, then there is a pattern.

I saw one of the structures in Lasleinur earlier today. At first I thought I still had a bit of Drop in my system, but it was an actual thing, it was really there. I reported it as requested.

No sign of any Sleeper activity in the system, though.

The bloody things are in Stain, as well. I've seen two of them out here. Very ominous feel about them...

I don't like it. Not one bit.

At this point it might be sensible to assume that there may be one in every system, as a worst case.

For the first time since I started the conversation, he looks me dead in the eye. In his gaze are steel jackhammers, quiet vengeance, a hundred thousand orbital bombs frozen in still life.

Can't talk for him but I too tried to shoot the object and didn't see any reaction.

Today I wanted to continue my studies just to find the unidentified object located in Leremblompes disappeared.

Someone or something reactivated or repaired the cloaking mechanism. At least I hope so, otherwise it warped or jumped out of the system. A cloaked ship of unknown origin that huge and capable of jumping... I don't want to think about it!
But who reactivated or repaired the cloaking mechanism?
Are those roaming Sleepers scanning - or reparing?

Who else would have the knowledge? The Sisters, again?

I was in Stoure in the Solitude region on business, and as I approached the Stoure IX - Moon 1 - Poteque Pharmaceuticals Biotech Research Center station I witnessed something rather disturbing - the Sleeper drones had come right up to the station and were doing... scanning? Well, whatever it is that these Circadians do to things. There were both CONCORD and local Federal police units orbiting the station as well, but they didn't seem to know quite how to deal with the situation. The station's harbour control was functioning as normal, trade ships were arriving and leaving as normal and nothing seemed to be wrong. But the Sleepers were still scanning the station when I left.

Hey, that's a couple of jumps away.

Reporting another sighting of an Unidentified Structure, this time in Nakri, Zemont. 295,000km from Nakri I. Sleepers jumped in minutes after I arrived to investigate.

This is not the first time i've heard of these appearing and then disappearing. Perhaps it would be of greater value to not just log their current location, but time of initial report as well. There may be a pattern we aren't seeing yet.

If the cloaking devices are malfunctioning, then perhaps the Circadian Sleepers are repair drones of some kind. If the cloaked object remains unrepaired long enough, its possible it may decloak completely.

Or, perhaps it is mobile after all and it will disappear anyway after its task is completed.

In any case, knowing when these sites appear and disappear should prove useful data.

As odd as this may sound, I find it worrisome that a normally hostile entity is not shooting back...

Just an update from today. The structure in Uchomida is still there. I spent several minutes observing Circadian sleepers scanning the beacon before warping off. Additionally, there was a wormhole that formed 1 AU from the structure. I'm not sure if it bears any relevance to the phenomenon though.

I'll put aside my regular trash talk in light of something I've just learned. How many days have you watched it?

I ask because Scope Works has received reports of these structures appearing and disappearing within a few days. Max range of movement was two systems. As of yet they have not appeared in the same system twice. Note this is NOT for every structure, but a few have been confirmed to move. Specifically, the one in question moved from Hjoramold to Nakugard.

If they ALL do this, we may want to look at two things.

  1. Pattern of motion relative to the cluster. Might they be moving toward a central point?
  2. Movement toward suspect celestial bodies discussed elsewhere, namely A0 Type stars

If EITHER of these are the case, we have a lot bigger things to worry about than the next Presidential election or some silly Empire proxy war.

If these things do show one of the above patterns, perhaps the Circadian variants should be immediately considered a threat, and shoot on sight. Scope Works is currently spread across two regions of space and will monitor the numerous structures around both stations we currently stay at and report back if we find anything.

In the meantime, I suggest you all treat those new Sleepers with extreme caution.

EDIT: We've confirmation that structures reappeared in both Hjoramold AND Nakugard.
