Now i know why one of the recent patches was so big.
They reworked all textures to make it happen.

Fun .. yes .
WHERE ARE THE SOV CHANGES?

Unless this will bring them , i will be very mad.

who cares about sov changes, tbh they just need to get rid SOV all together, but this is off topic so please dont talk about sov in this thread unless its to do with the STAR

At least since the Seyllin Incident and the emergence of unstable wormholes it has been clear that a fundamental alteration of the local fabric has taken place. In my view, and this is speculative, it is entirely possible that the local area exists in a bubble of space-time in which certain non-standard possibilities may manifest. If that is true, well all bets are off for what may happen next."

New wormhole are supposed to be destroyed "inside" by some sort of cataclysm (shattered planets etc.). Maybe it's a reflection of that disaster focused through one of wormholes like via lens, huge supernova on the far edge of the galaxy;

Just thing about it .
EMP pulse created by this distant explosion burns out all SOV related infrastructure, and all sov in eve is being dropped.
No one can claim it until CONCORD infrastructure is up ... but to reduction of cost , CONCORD was not prepared for this , and this can take up to 10 years.

Like I said on /r/EVE I believe it's a Hypernova throwing off two Gamma Ray Bursts vertically (which is why the vertical section is so massive) and this is what causes the shattered planets. This Hypernova is powered by an Isogen-5, Dark Matter, or Handwavium reaction/explosion.

I noticed the changes to the stars appearance from arzad today. Definitely much smaller and the expanding ring can clearly be seen. Appears as a dark disk from here.

2nd stage

Not terrific quality because it's zoomed in significantly.

An observation, in Caldari highsec the ring isn't visible but in Caldari lowsec you can see the ring.

You can still see the entity in providence Roll. It's smaller, but luckily it is fairly clear of all nebula effects where I observe it. I can verify that there is indeed a massive ring of dust around it, this however doesn't match supernova remnants we have observed.. (Tends to mostly go in all directions depending on the type). I know only of one object in new Eden that is similar to this phenomenon. Folks... We are witnessing the formation of a giant wormhole. This would explain the superluminal effects of the light reaching almost all regions with in the span of a few days.

They Said from start that this expansion would have NONE of that. We probably will need a few months before they add another step.
