Dear CCP Staff,

When I first saw the Men's 'Marshal' Jacket (Sisters of EVE), I was ecstatic!

I quickly searched for the Women's version of it but got very disappointed:
It doesn't follow all the same design guidelines of the Men's version.

Please consider adding those amazing white padding lines across:
Shoulders and neck,
Elbows to Wrists.

True, the Women's version should be more refined and subtle but I feel that a lot of the amazing artwork that you've done on the Men's SoE version got lost in the translation.

I'll buy one of course once it becomes available, but still, I find its current design to be lacking.

I have removed a rule breaking post.

The Rules:
5. Trolling is prohibited.

Trolling is a defined as a post that is deliberately designed for the purpose of angering and insulting other players in an attempt to incite retaliation or an emotional response. Posts of this nature are disruptive, often abusive and do not contribute to the sense of community that CCP promote.

I am not much of a fashion connoisseur, but I think this is an honest request, and just as legitimate as any other.
In my opinion it would be no more than fair for CCP to look into this, or at least reply to the OP.

All players should be equal, and thus all serious requests should be treated equally, even if it is just "silly" in other player's eyes, it's still something that at least one player (and I am sure there are other players with at least a hint of fashion sense that could help CCP out a great deal in fashion design) is concerned about, and should not be overlooked.

Best of luck on your quest for a better looking EVE, and never let anyone tell you what's important and what isn't.

This is just my personal opinion and I hope people will respect it.

Kind regards,

drraven

I think having alternative shoes for women, as well as a less "feminine" standing pose would be great. I have a hard time imagining my ultra-religious amarrian warlady would choose to wear something with so very little functional value. What kind of warrior would wear high heels in the first place anyway? This especially true with your introduction of Legion, where you can participate in combat on planets.

I think Jennifer Spearshield is making a good point, the male attire is designed a lot nicer in most cases where the female kind is stripped down or made softer overall. It's like the clothes designer for this game is afraid to offend someone when making the female clothing and therefore ends up making it uninteresting.

Looking at Jenny's hairstyle it's difficult to take any fashion ideas she has seriously. The ideas may have merit, but it's difficult to focus on the ideas with that 'just thrown together' clump on top of her noggin. Spend a little time putting yourself together!

I'm not worried. She's borderline hideous. I can bring more dudes to my defense in a minute than she could scrape together in a week.

I still agree with her tho, most of the available clothing for female avatars is plain hideous or sexist.

Me no like. Want proper combat dress.

The shoes are the worst. >.<

Stupidity should be a bannable offense.

Fighting back is more fun than not.

Bump.

Could a CCP staff member please confirm this has at least made its way to the appropriate design department for consideration?

The way I see it, the current SOE jacket looks too close to the blood raider jacket. They are both mostly black and red, with the SOE jacket having a little bit of white.

What CCP should do is change the SOE jacket so that it has the color as their ships. The SOE jacket should be all white with red lettering and/or stripes.

How about throwing in some extra poses while you're at it?Big smile
