Hey folks!

After Crucible and a few changes, it was time to post an updated version of the sheet.
(previous post http://www.eveonline.com/ingameboard.asp?a=topic&threadID=1553648)

I decided to squeeze some of the data that is not used so often, and bring it back to US Letter size. Although A4 sounds great, not everybody has some around and all the trouble I had going through formatting would be pointless since the printer just squeezes everything, sorry for that.

One of the major discussions is about the Damage Types table. Turns out that these are estimates by the community, so, to keep it simple and me sane, I'm putting in the same numbers you would find in EvEHQ. Exception here is "Mercenaries", as there is no such information in EvEHQ and thus the numbers are an estimate based on EvE-Survival's missions reports and other articles I found.

As always, comments are more than welcome and in case you find anything wrong please post it so I can fix it as soon as possible.

Enjoy! =)

Edit: v1.1.3, Fixed Damage Types (hopefully for the last time, this will be based on EvEHQ's information from now on, despite Mercenaries which do not have a consensus), also changed it to a % based information, not only type; Fixed Cap usage for Conflagration in Frequency Crystals; Altered the damage type order (em, th, ki, ex) for Projectile Ammo to match general ordering; Fixed T2 ammo ordering for all tables considering range as the ordering factor as in T1; Added "brackets" shortcuts; After some struggle with the Missiles Table and finally giving up inset margin for the sake of paper size, the sheet is back to US Letter size (yay! I didn't know how hard it was to get A4 in some places folks, sorry for that); Also on Missiles, I grouped the names for easier identification (given that is what ppl use the most anyway); Grouped Ore Types and added an Ore Variation Column, following the same idea on Missiles
Edit: v1.2.0, Added Rat Nomenclature table
Edit: v1.2.1, Updated Null Optimal and Fall Off; Updated Missiles names (Crucible 1.1)
Edit: v1.2.2, Updated missiles and launchers names (Crucible 1.6)

v1.2.2: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/6781003/EvE/Quick%20Reference%20Sheet%20by%20Korgan%20Nailo.pdf

Looking great, will recommend it to everyone ^^

Here's an idea, a chart showing the named meta level modules of various guns. Meta 4 Rails are Prototypes, Blasters are Modal, both beam and pulse lasers are modulated and both arty and ACs are 'Scout'.

And a chart of the Latin names of the rats.

(I edited out the bit about fixing the post since it won't make sense to future readers hehe)

Damn! That was fast. The forums actually brought me back to the edit window. I thought the post haven't gone through. Anyway, fixed as you said. =)

Hahaha, that was funny.

Yes Xercodo, I saw your post, thank you by the way.

I was thinking about how and where I could put a table like that.

When people asked me about drones for example, I kept thinking about layouts, had 3 or 4 before I ended up with one that would fit, have the information and be easy to read. For the turrets, I'm sure it wouldn't be so much trouble, but I would need to look at all of them, and the launchers. I can't think of a spot where it would fit right now, being totally honest.

Same goes for the latin names. I could go with the exact table as in your link, and that would look great, although where to fit that in would be the question.

Maybe I could add a 3rd page with those random tables, and some other suggestions would fit there as well.

I'll give it some thought, specially for the turrets. I won't promise anything today or this weekend, after all, it is the weekend, hehe, but I'll try somethings and let you know. =)

Thanks for the help.

Ya make a third page and then expand the concept to things like Damage Controls, Armor reppers, Shield Boosters, Hardeners, RR for both shield and armor.

To really flesh out this table you might also be able to include any particular benefits or draw backs the meta-named mods have over T2. (Like less cap use or PG or CPU, etc)

As for the Rat chart try this

Oh man, it was supposed to be a single sheet, you know? =p

Anyway, I think I cracked the rats, but I don't think I should include the turret information. Here is why:
- there is comparison tool in game
- I could only list the things that change between each meta version, the problem is that at each patch I would need to go crazy checking all that information to make sure the information was true

Mind you, I liked the idea of putting the names variations as they confuse people quite often, like having galente prototypes as m4 and minmatar prototypes as m3... but when I thought about the in game tool, it kind of put me down.

Here goes version 1.2.0 then, with the rats names.

Let me know what you think.

Hey Xercodo! =)

The "nvm" leads me to think that was not exactly the answer you were expecting, and believe me, not the thoughts I wanted too.

Anyway, this is what I meant. Using the in game tool, people can compare modules already.

Some modules variations can be as simple as this:
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/6781003/EvE/Modules/Invulnerability%20Field.jpg

Others like this:
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/6781003/EvE/Modules/Large%20Armor%20Repairer.jpg
Which is by the way an image I had to combine to be able to list everything, hehe.

When we discussed about the modules, I thought of something of that magnitude, specially to put the faction / deadspace / officer modules into perspective.

Having that said, was that what you thought of? Or something completely different?

Oh, and thanks for the bump, hehe =)

That's a really nice effort right there. See if you can get this added to the Trial forum, Q&A section.

This might be a dumb question, but where, exactly, is that comparison tool you're talking about?

Dig this sheet by the way--definitely good for someone like me who's memory-challenged.

Hi Spoon,

Right-Click an module, then "Show Info" . Now on the Info Window you can choose the "Variations" tab and then click "Compare" at the bottom. That is where. =)

Updated to Crucible 1.6.

v1.2.2, Updated missiles and launchers names (Crucible 1.6)

Now we are just waiting for the FoF Light missiles to have their names "standardized" so I can get rid of that big grey block on missiles. =)

Enjoy folks.

Nice!

Could probably save some room by changing the table format a bit.

Maybe give FOFs their own table.

I look forward to 1.2.3 :P
