Conspiracy theorists swarm discussion sites following Thera Incident.

Following the amazing news earlier today, revealing the existence of a secret Sisters of Eve colony in a previously unknown system, Gal-Net discussion sites have been swarmed by conspiracy theorists, attempting to claim it as evidence in their theories.

On Gal-Net sites frequented by ethnic Amarr immigrants, numerous conspiracy theorists have said that the "Thera Incident", as they are calling it, is in fact an omen of what they call "The End Times", an end-of-the-universe scenario allegedly mentioned in several passages of the Amarr holy texts commonly known as "The Scriptures".

Meanwhile, on different Gal-Net sites, populated mainly by ethnic Gallente citizens, people have claimed the Incident was foretold in the "Prophecies of Macaper", which are rumoured to have accurately predicted several galactic catastrophes.

Anti-technology activists have claimed that the rumoured destruction of several SoE stations in this "Thera" system, are a sign that civilisation should "go back to the pre-spaceflight era", and that "capsuleers will be the death of us all".

Ethnic Minmatar citizens have expressed bafflement about the apparent presence of the wreck of a Thukker capital ship, thought lost several years ago. "I just don't know what to think any more", said one concerned Sebiestor citizen.

The most disturbing conspiracy theory, relates to the secret nature of the "Thera" colony, and how it was unknown and unreachable except by SoE proprietary technology. "It's obvious that the SoE were planning to hide away in Thera, exterminate all the people in the rest of the cluster, or at least, all those wackjob podders, and then repopulate it with their own people! Read the signs, people!" exclaimed one agitated conspiracy theorist, when interviewed by one of our agents.

Official statements and the truth about Thera will no doubt come, but for many, their minds are already made up.

Did you know?

If you make a little hat from metal scraps and wear it on your head, the SOE can't use their mind-control rays on you.

Metal Scrap Hats are available, through me, for a limited time for the popular price of 1,000,000 ISK each. Send orders and cash directly to me.

Yes, I've seen this ship on a couple of shots. What was it doing there anyway?

It's been moved, either before or after its destruction. All databanks were deleted.

Interesting. The Sanctuary should be questioned, because this smells bad.
