The Screen shakes in ISIS when I click + drag in order to move it around \o/ subtle but nauseating.

EDIT: Also - the NEX store for ship skins shows the old incursus model rather than the new one.

Something MUST be wrong with the colors of the damnation... 75% white/grey/silver, 25% darkgrey something... WHY ISNT IT BLACK like is has to be... its DARK AMARR, not something dark with silver sh*t... CHANGE IT...

and all that shineyness... its WAY too much... TOOOO MUCH... CHANGE IT... give us the ability to turn it off or something...

i dont like this patch :(

I didn't see this mentioned:

Clicking on "view contents" from the right click, drop down menu on a ship or container in the assets window doesn't do anything if the ship or container is in a different station.

Using the launcher I get the authentication and the bulk data progress bars and then I get a black screen. I never got the screen where I would select my character.

I have a similiar problem if I use the exe file directly. I get the splash screen. I login. I get the authentication and the bulk data processing and then I'm left at the splash screen. I never get to the screen where I would select my character.

This happens on all 3 accounts.

I've logged a support ticket. I've attached a logserver log file. I've restarted my computer. I've cleared my cache. I've cleared my settings (which is going to take ages to get back again). Nothing makes any difference.

At the moment I must admit that I am very disappointed. I'm not sure if clearing the cache/settings on the other accounts will help in any way, or if I'm just digging myself deeper and deeper. Should I be looking at reinstalling the client? That will take several days to download and will use most of my december data cap.

Please advise!

Try to click on a spot where you should have your character, some people have managed to get past that way.

Hi, I live in Australia and have an issue downloading the update with the auto method. I have tried several times and each time the client crashes and i have to start downloading again. I do not have a screen shot as I am at work now but can provide one later today when home.

So, your cloud rendering is a bit over the top with this new graphics engine. When clouds are on top of clouds it's a full white-out.

Also the right-click menu renders a bit weird with blur enabled. Sample Pic

RHEA ISSUES (AND OTHER STILL UNADDRESSED ISSUES):

CURRENT RHEA ISSUES:

- "DRAG AND DROP" SELLING STILL IS NOT WORKING: The Drag and Drop STILL DOES NOT WORK when selling multiple items from my own Corporation's in-station Hangar. It was stated 4 weeks ago that this "was a known issue and would be corrected in the upcoming upgrade patch" which, well, obviously has not been fixed.

- TRANSPARENCY/NEW UI's LACK OF "ROW SEPARATION" IN LIST MODE: This expansion is relatively pointless (sadly for all the programmers who worked so hard on it) - especially the UI transparency for the percentage of people who cannot visually read anything in semi-translucent (blurry mess mode) windows. This is the one time where transparency is not at all useful. Problem is vastly visible when using the only 2 dark/black-ish "themes": "Dark Matter" and "Carbon". They are simply WAY too dark, with absolutely no visible horizontally separating lines for rows. Seriously: I cannot visually "see" and understand the prices of items and quantities when staring at a large opened UI window of selling orders, or the market options of an item, etc etc..

- ROW AND COLUMN ISSUES WHEN NOT TRANSPARENT: There are no visually linear lines helping to visually divide and identify rows of items and associated information.

- NEW ICON VISUAL/INTERPRETATION: The "Symbology" needs some color. I rely on color to help differentiate options - that is in addition to shapes. Now I'm mentally taking more time staring at all the new icons and not having any clue as to "what is what". Problem is: lack of color, which seems odd, considering your example of the "works in progress" and example pics shown/shared in your "a new look for EVE's UI" blog: the pictures show a colored glow. Problem with current set up: it's purely black and white. This gets even more confusing when you have NO option to set the "background" of the menu side bar to something NON-transparent.

- "CHANNELS" ICON IN SIDEMENU CANNOT BE REMOVED: Oddly, of all the icons in the sidemenu that can be "right-clicked" upon and see a "Remove" option, the CHANNELS icon can NOT be removed. Seriously, of all icons I really don't need, that channel opening option is available in EVERY chat channel window in the universe... So give us room by giving us the ability to REMOVE IT FROM OUR MENUS please.

- SOUND: There seems to be a strange glitch or issue in the voume of the "initiation of jumping into warp". It's not fully replicatable, but when it hits, it can be deafening louder than the warp travel sound itself. There is no volume slide adjustment option for this sound effect.

- WINDOW UI "CORNERS" AND NON-ALIGNMENT: I believe, as a designer myself, there is at least a 1 pexel in width transparent line around every UI window open. the only time it is visible is when you see the "corners". These corners are visually annoying and pointless, and they also cause a visual distraction when windows are butted up next to each other: there is a visual separation of at least 2-3 pixels showing the beckground, when, in previous versions since 2006 onward, when all windows were right next to each other, they did not expose anything behind it. Seriously, this is as much of a visual distraction as the transparency issues itself. This is most viewable when you set your UI option to NO TRANSPARENCY (which oddly still makes your side menu persistently transparent) and 100% bold, using CARBON or DARK MATTER as your "theme" set of colors. Very distracting.

CLUTTER REDUCTION (still unaddressed)

I've noticed starting months ago this year: all EVE DEVs and CCP associates stating the phrase of progress intent to "reduce clutter in the interface" - a common DEV-spoken/typed "theme" and "token sentence" associated with every change since the last BIG change in-game which was the new typeface several years ago to make more "screen real estate", yet the Industry UI is one of the biggest steps backwards I have ever seen regarding this statement since, and the following issues are still unaddressed:

- INDUSTRY UI: The INDUSTRY UI is way too bloated visually, taking up to 50% of a windowed active cient, and does not allow resizing to a "managable" size when dealing with other multiply opened windows - as usually a majority of mass manufacturing and industrial corporations have open at any one time when docked. Can this be not forgotten in order to "REDUCE CLUTTER" please?

- INDUSTRY UI: The INDUSTRY UI needs a more compact way to list the jobs. Each "job row" takes up about 2 "normal rows" when in "LIST MODE" in ALL "INVENTORY UI" windows. Industry's UI is a waste of space, and the pulsating "Tron-meets-Georgia-O'Keeffe's vaginal-esque" blueprint graphic area is a tremendous waste of space which cannot be made smaller or even vertically "squished" to allow a longer, more intelligible view of the jobs listed. Can this be not forgotten in order to "REDUCE CLUTTER" please?

- INDUSTRY UI: The INDUSTRY UI shows a relatively pointless "OUTCOME" image which, for all intent and purposes, is unnecessary for most skilled manufacturers. After all, as stated by recent DEVs: the goal is to "reduce clutter in the interface". Can this be optional to "REDUCE CLUTTER" please?

- INDUSTRY UI SYMBOLOGY: ANYTHING MINERAL-ORIENTED IN BLUEPRINTS/INDUSTRY UI: It has become incredibly frustrating to visually (quickly) understand amounts of "minerals" used in an Industry "job" without unnecessary waste of time "mousing over" each symbol. The ICONOGHRAPHY of minerals terrible. The client/UI lacks any option to TEXTUALLY show what minerals are when listing manufacturing amounts/needs, etc. PLEASE allow a "LIST" mode for all mineral-oriented iconography as an alternative.
OR ALTERNATIVE SOLUTION: Simply abbreviate TRI,PYR,MEX,ISO,NOX,MEG,ZYD and MOR - all would easily be appreciated and could be positioned conveniently "above" the mineral symbols.

I am a game dev (another company) and I know how it works... some Lead thinks he got inspired (by some stupid pinterest pictures), despite all graphic team has to say against it... and guess what.. you get that "inspired" UI full of cr@p.
I've seen it so many times....

Usually the decision is made by the leas knowledgeable people about ergonomics, psychology and human behavior specialist.

Time to let this month subscription go by (training skills) and freeze it once more for another long period until they pull their heads out of sand and let the REAL competences take charge.

Beside the fact that after patch my pc screams for a new graphic card since i can't use "old" graphics (before instead even if not was the best around, rarely i've seen it drop under 50 fps) i've noticed a absurdly big drop in fps when the autohide neocom animation is sliding it, both hiding or making neocom to appear (client goes to around 20 fps, no matter if graphics setting were set to high or low).
Even notice a little drop in fps every time i click on a window even if it was alredy the active one...

Sell window in advanced mode is still bugged and gives a "green warning text" for bidding above regional average.
Note: The sell window in simple mode gives the correct "red warning text" for bidding above regional average.

I know this is not much useful info, but I've had the beta map completely bug out on me and I cant restore it. I was playing around with it, exploring the settings, moving/resizing the window, and suddenly it's only showing the region names, I cant select anything and the buttons for the option on top of the map window have disappeared.

I tried restarting the client and I'll file a bug report in game (though I cant remember exactly what I was doing when it bugged out).

Some initial side notes:

- The new map as a floating window won't "attach" to the neocom. i.e. if you have auto-hide on for the neocom, when it pops out and the map is right beside it, the map window wont move.

- The selected route in the new map is nearly totally indistinguishable from the general connection lines, its impossible to follow it

- I'm loving the new UI so far. I need to play with it more, but especially I think the icons are fantastic on the whole. Its so much easier for me to distinguish what they are now.

- The new map (from what I saw of it before it bugged out) has sooooo much potential. Its a great start.

- I cant wait to see where all this ends up when hopefully the rest of the UI/icons are changed

Downloading part of the patching the client went extremely slow on my 120 MBit cable connection. Took 1,5 hours to download the 1,51 GB patch. Other downloads were fine at that time.

Anyone experienced the same?

In fleet with 10 guys, 1 Carrier, 9 Cruisers. All in same wing and squad. Carrier warps alone to gate, when carrier has entered warp, I wingwarp the cruisers. Cruiser-wing is now warping at 1,5 AU/s like a carrier.

Works as intended or bug in Rhea?

UI lag is back!

Try working with noctis in mission area with full of wrecks, trying to select 10 of 'em with old fashion way holding ctrl and pressing left click in overview = LAGFEST. When you past that and try to open em buy doubleclicking on each of 'em client will freeze for 1-2 upon opening single wreck x 10 of em, well you know how to add. And after all that try looting em, by hitting loot... whooohoo, client dies for 1-2 seconds for each loot.
